Illinois Valley Lions Club Labor Day Festival & Parade included (clockwise
from top left) the club’s Casey Jones train, a watermelon seed-spitting
contest, greased pole climb, more seed spitting, I.V. High School cheer-
leaders, music by ‘The Shadowz’, PS & G Railroad from Kerby, and
hunting for coins in straw. The festival in Jubilee Park was well at-
tended and provided numerous booths and other attractions.
