Monday, July 25
*There was a complaint at
5:28 p.m. from the 2000 block
of Laurel Road that a woman
in a pickup truck tried to run
over the complainant, also a
woman.
Wednesday, July 27
*Around 12:30 a.m. a
caller said that her husband and
a disabled woman were over-
due, but then he hitch-hiked
back, and a deputy found the
woman and gave her a ride.
*“Employee error” caused
an alarm at 7:05 a.m. in the
28000 block of Hwy. 199.
*Following a report of
road workers without flaggers
on Crooks Creek Road, no
work was found.
*A sweaty, confused, ap-
parently ill person at the top of
Hay’s Hill refused help against
advice from American Medical
Response.
*On Laurel Road a couple
had a disturbance during which
he “broke everything she
owns” and told her to move
out. She was taken to a friend’s
home, and given information
on how to proceed.
*Two children said they
were left alone while their dad
went to work, and that they
were afraid of him. The mom,
who has custody, was to pursue
her legal rights.
*On Lakeshore Drive a
dirt bike was said to be speed-
ing up and down.
*Illegal use of a dumpster
at I.V. Head Start was logged.
*Telephonic harassment
was reported in O’Brien.
*A possible DUII weav-
ing, swerving driver was com-
plained about at Hwy. 46 and
Holland Loop at 8:28 p.m.
*Telephonic harassment
was reported on Lamont Way.
*A runaway girl with
pierced ears and belly button
was reported on Lamont Way.
*COP was noted on Ollis
Road at 10:26 p.m.
Thursday, July 28
*At 12:17 a.m. a deputy
went through Jubilee Park un-
der Community Oriented Po-
licing (COP).
*Extra patrol was re-
quested by Nacho Mama’s at
2:42 a.m. after three teen-age
boys were run off from the area.
*Medical personnel re-
sponded to Lister Street at 3:45
a.m. in connection with a de-
pressed woman taking pills.
*Shortly before 8 a.m., a
resident in the 6000 block of
Takilma Road said a car was on
his property. It was a woman
taking a rest.
*Someone used a rock to
break a window at the Great
Cats World Park guest shop.
*Someone else (?) used
rocks to damage the ATM at
Evergreen Federal Bank.
*In the 1200 block of
Lakeshore Drive, a dirt bike
rider was warned for driving on
a public roadway.
*Telephonic harassment
was reported on Kirkham Road.
*Trespassing involving
people cutting wood was re-
ported on Hogue Drive.
*Criminal mischief, one of
10 reported incidents overnight,
was reported at Lorna Byrne
Middle School, and the city of
Cave Junction “Welcome” sign.
*A mother said that her
daughter was pushed off a rock
at Illinois River “Forks” State
Park, causing minor injury.
*Seven sprinkler heads
were broken off at Jubilee Park.
*Matthew Chalon Miller,
18, was issued a federal citation
on a charge of driving while
suspended (DWS) in the 4500
block of Illinois River Road.
Those with him were warned
for not wearing safety belts.
*A brand-new bicycle was
found in a wooded area near
Fernwood Drive.
*Someone was driving an
old green car “all over the road-
way” near Hwy. 199 and
Rockydale Road at 5:35 p.m.
*Donald Edward Cox, 59,
was cited and released on a
charge of driving under the
influence of an intoxicant
(DUII) on Reeves Creek Road.
*Kenton William Oliver,
23, was cited in the 7000 block
of Illinois River Road on
charges of failure to drive right,
and no operator’s license.
*ODOT was advised of a
“widow-maker” tree limb
across Hwy. 199 near O’Brien.
*A swerving pickup truck
was reported at Hwy. 46 and
Holland Loop at 7:31 p.m.
*In O’Brien a complainant
said that a man comes to her
yard and calls her names, and
that he has told neighbors that
she is cruel to her children.
*Twelve gunshots were
reported in the 1500 block of
Hwy. 46 at 9:52 p.m. Subse-
quently another caller said that
the firing was related to a bear
on her porch.
*Warrant service was re-
quested on Holland Loop by
Clackamas County, but the man
already had been served on a
charge of second-degree theft.
Friday, July 29
*Loud music on Finch
Road was complained about at
2:38 a.m. The volume was
reduced after deputy contact.
*The ATM at Evergreen
Federal Bank was damaged.
Again.
*The ATM and landscap-
ing were damaged at Sterling
Savings Bank.
*In the Holland area, a
man said that another man
threw a rock that struck him
near one of his knees.
*Jaysen Allen White, 19,
was cited on a charge of failure
to drive to the right on Illinois
River Road.
*People on Illinois River
Road were warned for failure
to wear safety belts, and the
driver warned for illegal altera-
tion or display.
*Ryan Christopher Dra-
heim, 29, and Keith Anthony
Carter, 29, were issued federal
citations on Illinois River Road
on charges of possession of a
controlled substance (PCS)/
marijuana.
*Some 80 feet down an
embankment off Fernwood
Drive, a vehicle was seen. It
had been there awhile.
*On Illinois River Road,
Clifford Lee Phillips, 17, was
issued a federal citation on a
charge of PCS/marijuana.
*On the same road, Daniel
Lee Krause, 25, was federally
cited on a charge of PCS/
marijuana.
*Extra patrol was re-
quested on Ollis Road.
*Following an audible
alarm in the 8500 block of
Deer Creek Road, response
was canceled.
*After clicking noises and
a 911 hang-up call in the 5000
block of Takilma Road, a
phone problem was reported.
Saturday, July 30
*When a deputy contacted
a woman, 47, in the 24000
block of Hwy. 199 at 2:07
a.m., she said she was walking
to a friend’s residence.
*Despite a 2:43 a.m. alarm
at Z Coffee, the area checked
secure.
*Cottage Grove Police
asked that a check be made on
Waldo Road for a possible
stolen car.
*A runaway boy, 13, last
seen during the morning the
day before, was reported in
Cave Junction.
*Boe Alan McAllister, 30;
and Jeremiah E. Deckert, 22,
were cited on charges of failure
to drive right in the 5000 block
of Illinois River Road.
*After taking meds, a man
in the 30000 block of Hwy. 199
ceased being a problem.
*Following a complaint, a
report on fourth-degree assault
in O’Brien was filed by a man.
*Joshua Evan Denham,
22, was cited on Illinois River
Road on charges of no insur-
ance and no registration.
*Fighting and shoving
were reported on Hogue Drive
with several people involved.
No one wanted to press
charges.
*A fawn was reported in
the middle of Hwy. 46 in the
5000 block. It was dead.
*A dog with horse riders
in Takilma reportedly drew
blood from a boy on a bicycle.
*Phone problems caused a
911 hang-up call from the 5500
block of Takilma Road.
*After an alarm on Addi-
son Lane, the alarm company
said it was OK.
*In Selma there was con-
cern that a woman in a car

seen staggering.
*Family members calmed
a young man causing problems
at a family reunion in the
32000 block of Hwy. 199.
*Trespassing four-wheelers
were noted in the 2000 block of
Deer Creek Road.
Sunday, July 31
*There was a complaint of
loud music at 12:26 a.m. at
Hwy. 199 and Lakeshore
Drive. Then all was quiet.
*All the dogs in the
neighborhood were barking
because of a live band, a
Draper Valley Road area resi-
dent said at 2:38 a.m. No music
was found.
*Despite an alarm at I.V.
Family Resource Center at
1:31 p.m., all was well.
