There was a 22 percent turnout in the special vote- by-mail election on Tues- day, May 17, reported the Josephine County Clerk’s Office. Director Leonard Frick, of Kerby, did not seek re- election, and his seat will be taken by Dusty A. Bou- chard, of Selma, who served on the board several years ago. Re-elected were Direc- tors Larrick D. Jones and Don Haviland, both of Cave Junction. All three ran unop- posed. Jones garnered 893 votes; Haviland 896; and Bouchard 895. Each re- ceived approximately 66 percent of the majority of votes cast.
