47, was cited on a charge
of driving while suspended
(DWS) and warned for
failure to signal and ex-
pired tags. His vehicle was
impounded.

Michael
Jennings, 52, was cited on
charges of DWS and no
proof of insurance, and
warned for a defective li-
cense plate light in the 100
block of Redwood Hwy.
* In t o x i c a t e d a n d
scared by what her intoxi-
cated boyfriend was say-
ing, a woman in Selma
wanted him out of the
house. He had calmed
down and gone to bed be-
fore a deputy arrived, so
she changed her mind.
*A driver was advised
to use her hazard lights
until she could get home
and repair her defective
taillights around 9:30 p.m.
Friday, Oct. 29
*Contacted while at-
tempting to walk from CJ
to Murphy, an intoxicated
man who was talking to
himself was helped to se-
cure a ride. His large hunt-
ing knife was taken “for
safekeeping.”
*Because a man
would not leave a resi-
dence on Hussey Avenue
when asked, and because
he had threatened his wife
who was staying there, the
resident called for help.
The man was warned re-
garding criminal trespass.
*A driver was warned
about his untagged load of
firewood and for lack of
insurance information.
*Agitated after hearing
that his insurance was can-
celed, a man was on his
way to Grants Pass, and
his care-taker wanted to
alert someone.
*Having car problems,
a driver on Redwood Hwy.
was warned for impeding
traffic around 4 p.m.
*When asked to leave
and warned about criminal
trespass, a squatter on a
property in the 2000 block
of Lakeshore Drive left.
*John Lee Hawk, 22,
was arrested on charges of
felony DWS and DUII fol-
lowing a traffic stop on
Althouse Road around
4:30 p.m.
*Due to what she
called continuing harass-
ment by her boyfriend, a
woman on Hussey Avenue
sought assistance. A dep-
uty was unable to locate
the man.
*Someone threw a big
rock through a window of
his dump truck parked at
the end of Rough & Ready
Creek Road, a man said.
*Rodney Blake Sand-
ers, 39, was arrested on
charges of second-degree
criminal mischief, first-
degree criminal trespass-
ing, and domestic menac-
ing following a day of dis-
putes on Hussey Avenue.
*Casie Lee Schaffer,
21, was cited on a charge
of failure to carry liability
insurance and warned for
defective equipment on
Redwood Hwy. at W.
Lister Street around 8 p.m.
*A mother reported
that her teen-aged children
had been in an MVA on
White Creek Road. She
said that she was seeing to
their medical needs.
