PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on
September 1, 2004, the United States filed a
complaint for forfeiture in rem on the above-
described real property brought under the provi-
sions of 18 U.S.C. § 985; 21 U.S.C. § 881, 28
U.S.C. § 1345, 1355, 1356 and 1395; and 19
U.S.C. § 1610, wherein it is sought to have the
above-described real property forfeited to the
United States for the reason that is property
used to commit to facilitate the commission of a
violation of 21 U.S.C. § 801 et se., and is sub-
ject to forfeiture to the United States pursuant to
21 U.S.C. § 881 (a)(7).
Any person claiming an interest in the defen-
dant real property must file a statement of inter-
est or right, in the manner set forth in Rule C(6)
(a) of the Supplemental Rules for Certain Admi-
ralty and Maritime Claims, Federal Rules of
Civil Procedure, except that such claim must be
filed not later than 30 days after the date of
service of the complaint or, as applicable, not
later that 30 days after the date of final publica-
tion of notice of the filing of the complaint. In
addition, any person having filed such a claim
shall also file an answer to the complaint not
later than 20 days after the filing of the claim.
The claim shall be verified on oath or solemn
affirmation, and shall state the interest in the
property by virtue of the action, and should be
filed with the Clerk of the United States District
