The fund-raiser was supervised by Ken and Becky Loudon, co- leaders of the Bridge- view youth group. He built the ‘super-duper’ drive-through sprayer to help expedite the cleanli- ness of the vehicles. Those who participated, who all came away with ‘super-clean’ cars, made donations of their choice to the youth group. Redwood Hwy., a man threw the bartender down before his friends hauled him away. The bar- tender did not require medical attention. Saturday, Sept. 4 *A silver-colored BMX bike was reported stolen from Kerby. *Someone passed a fraudulent $100 bill at a CJ business. *The driver of a small, white vehicle was following four women on Redwood Hwy., and all were scream- ing at each other. *Four people were con- tacted at Jubilee Park while a deputy conducted Commu- nity Oriented Policing. *In the 11000 block of Takilma Road, Jeffrey Steven Burdick, 25, was cited on charges of no operator’s per- mit, and driving uninsured. *A woman said that her son was “cranked up, flipping out and yelling,” and also threatening to kill his family. *Misti Lin Yoshiwara, 21, was cited on charges of driving while suspended (DWS) and no insurance on Westside Road at Prottsman Way. *Willie James Bearden, 50, was cited on a charge of DWS, and warned for failure to signal a lane change. *Todd C. Renecker, 35, was cited on charges of fel- ony eluding, DWS, posses- sion of a controlled sub- stance, DUII, open container, failure to drive within a lane, and failure to wear a seatbelt. He finally paid the bill, and they let him go. *Michael J. Phillips, 33, was cited and released on a charge of DWS, and warned for obscured plates and fail- ure to provide insurance in- formation. *A light blue pickup truck nearly struck another vehicle as it turned onto Westside Road, a woman reported at 7:33 p.m. *In O’Brien a caller thought he found a stolen vehicle, but a deputy found no evidence that it was. *Abandoned with beer on top of it, a car was towed from the 400 block of Lake- shore Drive. Monday, Sept. 6 *Ronald F. Jones, 51, was cited and released on a charge of DUII, and warned for failure to signal a turn. *ODOT was advised of a “Stop” sign down on Caves Avenue at Caves Hwy. *After a woman com- plained about a man who refused to leave a residence in the 24000 block of Redwood Hwy., a civil compromise was reached. *James Patrick Ewing, 55, was cited to appear and released on charges of DUII and failure to leave name at the scene of an accident, after an accident on Takilma Road. *A man on Caves Hwy. shined a spotlight on a car which had been parked in front of a house on Caves Hwy. for 15 minutes or so, with an occupant who was “raising hell,” cursing, swear- ing and sounding intoxicated. The vehicle then left toward Cave Junction. Tuesday, Sept. 7 *Suffering severe facial injuries and a fractured leg, a man found near the swim- ming pool at the Junction Inn at 2:40 a.m. appeared to have *In the 35000 block of Redwood Hwy. a man was complaining that squatters had tied up his dog, and he wanted them removed.
