On Saturday, July 17,
BLM botanist Lusetta Nel-
son will lead a Native
Plant Society field trip on
Red Mountain located on
the Siskiyou Crest west of
Mt. Ashland.
It will be a moderate
4-mile hike to see this
year’s floral display and to
find and identify some un-
common flowers.
Hikers should meet at
9 a.m. on the Ashland Bi-
Mart parking lot near the
fence along Tolman Creek
Road, off I-5 exit 14.
