Nicole’s talent sort of runs in the family, her par- ents said. “Her grandfather and great-grandfather were involved with music their whole lives and her grand- mother has written hun- dreds and hundreds of songs,” said her mom. “Now Nicole has tapped in song-writing, and I think that she got that from her grandmother. “But as far as singing goes, God gave her that talent,” she said. great problem of Amer- ica today is to take that straight road down the middle"? 6. It will be released in Europe in a few months. “She performed a duet with Michael Jarrett on his CD, ‘Silk on Satin,’” said her mom. “She also did background vocals. Right now the CD is on its way down to the Neil Diamond Studio for finalization, and Von Price will be playing the saxophone to go along with the music. Michael Jarrett is a very successful song-writer, and he’s kind of taken Nicole under his wing,” her mom said. Nicole’s future cer- tainly looks bright. Ac- cording to Angel, he has already had two people approach him and ask if they can be Nicole’s man- ager. Currently, Nicole doesn’t have one. In the meantime, she wants to continue singing and graduate from Illinois Val- ley High School. After graduating, Nicole plans on attending a college, where she looks forward to getting her degree in busi- ness. “She knows what she wants to go for, but she also has her priorities straight and wants to get an education,” Angel con- cluded.
