Iron Horse Rodeo plans Lake Selmac roar again in 2005

The roar of more than
2,000 Harley Davidson
motorcycles rang through
the valley Friday through
Sunday, June 18-20 with
the coming of the Iron
Horse Rodeo.
“Twelve years and we
love coming back to Lake
Selmac and Illinois Val-
ley,” said event organizer
Earl Holmes, of Merlin.
The Iron Horse Rodeo
was started 12 years ago
with a few campsites, a
couple of bikes, and a
dream of a biker rally in
Southern Oregon.
“With such great atten-
dance we bring much-
needed attention and
money to the valley and
pride ride for the Vietnam
memorial, and adopting
families around the holiday
season. Those efforts will
continue.

June 26 at 2 p.m. in Jubilee
Park.

I.V. Little League will
hold its annual general
meeting at the Jubilee Park

the closing ceremonies.

host the Little League Jun-
ior All-Stars Tournament,
which will be held the
weekend of July 10-11.
During the five-game
series, 13- and 14-year-old
players from the Southern
Oregon District will vie for
the opportunity to compete
in the state championships.
