*Anthony Herman, 47,
was cited on charges of no
operator’s license, and fail-
ure to carry proof of insur-
ance on E. River Street.
*There was a report
that a woman who had
been sexually assaulted in
CJ was at Three Rivers
Community Hospital.
*Cameron R. Dailey,
35, was arrested on a
charge of restraining order
violation on W. River.
*Various items includ-
ing a camera, with a total
value of $20, were re-
ported stolen from a car on
N. Junction Avenue.
*A woman in CJ said
that a man was harassing
her by pulling his arms up
and taking off his hat to
“make himself known.”
His probation officer was
to be contacted.
*Carlton F. Hall, 38,
was arrested on Eight Dol-
lar Road under federal
charges of possession of a

firearm with obliterated
serial number, and conspir-
acy to manufacture some-
thing illegal. He also re-
ceived a federal citation
for providing false infor-
mation to an officer.
*Despite a report of a
couple fighting at the north
end of CJ, the woman
claimed that she had fallen
and reopened a wound on
one hand, and that was
why she was screaming.
*A bit of confusion
about who sideswiped
whom was noted in Selma.
*Although people said
they saw a woman being
harmed by a man in CJ, the
alleged victim kept walk-
ing, and the suspect, de-
tained by citizens, was free
to go.
*There was a 911
hang-up call from Selma,
but all seemed OK.
*A man on probation
was said to have pulled out
a knife in CJ, and he had
been drinking, it was re-
ported.
*In Selma, a girl, 15,
was not home when she
was supposed to be.
Saturday, May 1
*When emergency
personnel arrived at a
rolled car on Holland Loop
near Hummingbird Road at
5:57 a.m., they discovered
the crash probably hap-
pened the night before.
*Bad driving by young
men at “Forks” State Park
was reported.
*Animal Control was
to be notified about bark-
ing dogs in the 8000 block
of Upper Deer Creek.
*Tree-cutters with pos-
sible evil intent were re-
ported in Takilma.
*A fast and reckless
driver in a blue Bronco
was complained about in
Downtown CJ.
