Sunday, Dec. 7 *In the 29000 block of Redwood Hwy. a man was stopped by depu- ties for possessing a Christmas tree without a permit. It turned out to be a pile of slash. *A man said a traffic light was not triggering at S. Redwood Hwy. and Lister Street causing him to sit at a red light in- definitely. It was unclear if the man found a way to get through the inter- section without running the red light. Oregon Dept. of Transportation was notified. The landlord said the couple was evicted and he wanted to show some pro- spective tenants the home. He said nothing appeared to be missing. *A citizen in the 5800 block of Holland Lo op Road said she was doing a home health visit and a baby was crying but no one was answering the door. The baby’s parents said they had music and a fan on and could not hear her knocking. Wednesday, Dec. 10 *In the 700 block of N. Old Stage Road a man said $30 worth of gas was missing from a vehicle. *A woman requested a welfare check on another woman who was screaming that she would commit sui- cide if a govern- ment organization took away her child. Deputies contacted her and said she was OK. She was just wor- ried about her daughter. *In the 200 block of Draper Valley Road a man said some teenag- ers cut a hole through a fence to get to a neighbor’s yard and were rac- ing dirt bikes there. One of the teen- ager’s mothers said she would take care of it. *In the 1600 block of Lone Mountain Road a woman said her runaway son re- turned voluntarily. *Dip Daggett Mulch, 41, was cited on a charge of DWS. His vehi- cle was im- pounded. The listed value was $100. *A Cave Junc- tion bus driver said a man was harass- ing her because she wouldn’t give him a ride to Grants Pass. She explained that the bus only serves CJ. The man was last seen walking on the Redwood Hwy. It was noted for patrol. *A man said his son was be- yond parental con- trol in the 200 block of Burch Drive. There was a pick-up order for the boy. Deputies said they would take him to the Juvenile Justice Center in Grants Pass when he re- turned home. *A woman in the 800 block of Hayes Cut Off Road reported her son as a runaway. *A man in the 200 block of Ste- venson Street said his son was com- plaining of back pain after being involved in a sin- gle vehicle acci- dent. The boy said another person involved in the accident had a pos- sible concussion and broken wrist. Deputies filed an official report about the accident after making con- tact with the two youngsters. *In the 100 block of S. Red- wood Hwy. a citi- zen said a nozzle was missing off a gas pump. A man driving a vehicle left towards Kerby on Redwood Hwy. with the nozzle and gas hose still attached. Deputies were unsure if the man drove off with the gas hose at- tached on purpose or not. *A citizen said a man wearing camouflage was lying next to the road and was occa- sionally raising his hand in the air. OSP said the man was not injured but was intoxicated and possibly a traf- fic danger. The man left and went into the woods. *In the 200 block of W. River Street a man said someone broke into his home through his air conditioning hole, ran sack ed his house and left blood in the ga- rage. He said a suspect had re- cently lived in the house. Friday, Dec. 12 *In the 1400 block of Daisy Lane a man said someone broke his driver side window and his stereo was missing. The listed value of the stereo was $179. *A woman said someone broke into and ran- sacked her vehicle in the 300 block of Terrace Drive. Nothing was taken. She had suspect information. *In the 100 block of S. Junc- tion Avenue a woman said her daughter was struck in the face with a fist by a boy at Lorna Byrne Middle School. *A gun that was hidden but not locked up was missing from a man’s home in the 1400 block of Draper Valley Road. The listed value of the weapon was $350. *In the 500 b l o c k o f Schumacher Street a man said the doors and license plates of his vehi- cle were spray painted. The woman said it was a common occur- rence for her vehi- cles to get messed with. *A man said his unlocked vehi- cle was entered into and items were missing in- cluding: $200 sun- glasses, truck pa- perwork, a flash- light and a $15 umbrella. *Wanda Jean Jefferies was cited on charges of driv- ing 68 mph in a 40 mph zone on Red- wood Hwy. near Kerby Street. *In the 1900 block of Lone Mountain Road a woman said some- one had taken her vehicle without permission. She had suspect infor- mation but the man denied it. *Sarah Marie Nordloh, 19, was arrested on charges of being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon. Saturday, Dec. 13 *In the 500 block of Caves Hwy. a woman said her ex-fiancé was calling her by telephone in viola- tion of a restrain- ing order. She wanted the infor- mation docu- mented. *In the 400 block of S. Red- wood Hwy. a man said an abandoned vehicle located near a business was vandalized. He was advised of his civil options. *In the 400 block of S. Red- wood Hwy. a man said several items were missing from his vehicle includ- ing stereo equip- ment. No value was listed. *In the 100 block of Warren Road a woman said her battery was missing from her vehicle. Three other vehicles were also damaged on the same property. She said more items were also missing from an unlocked shop. *In the 4100 block of Lakeshore Drive a man said a vehicle drove off the road hit 10 feet of fence and dam- a ge d ye a r l i n g Christmas trees. *In the 500 block of Brown- town Road a citi- zen said a woman was violent and disoriented and could be having a diabetic problem behind the Holland Store. She was given medical as- sistance. *In the 200 block of Iron Way Paul Winfield Cole, no age given, was arrested on charges of viola- tion of a restrain- ing order and was transported to jail after deputies re- sponded to a 911 hang up. *A woman in the 300 block of Naue Way said someone entered her cabin through a window and every- thing was missing. Items taken in- cluded: bed, cur- tains, firewood, and “virtually eve- rything.” * In the 400 block of W. River Street a woman said a flashlight and vehicle title was removed from her car.
