Caves Hwy. a man said a
woman with some psychi-
atric problems was spitting
up pills and may have tried
to overdose. She was trans-
ported to Three Rivers
Community Hospital in
Grants Pass.
*A man in the 5700
block of Rockydale Road
said some youngsters were
shooting shotgun type
guns. Deputies warned the
mother of the kids for
shooting with an improper
backstop.
*At Jubilee Park
Shawn W. Macdowell, 27,
was cited to a appear on a
warrant. He failed to ap-
pear in court on the initial
charges of attempting to
elude and reckless driving.
*Near the intersection
of Redwood Hwy. and
Holton Creek Road depu-
ties advised a man of his
driving habits after wit-
nessing him passing un-
safely and following too
close.
*A man in the 500
block of N. Old Stage
Road was refusing to leave
a man’s property. Deputies
said he was allowed to
pick up some of his per-
sonal belongings and
warned for trespassing in
the future.
*In the 100 block of S.
Sawyer Avenue a woman
said she had been having
continuing problems with
her neighbors involving
her juvenile children.
Deputies said all the
youngsters were advised to
stay away from each other.
*In the 1800 block of
Rockydale Road Oregon
State Police troopers lo-
cated an abandoned vehi-
cle. OSP left a message for
the vehicle’s owner who
was camping on the coast,
deputies said.
*In the 200 block of
Airport Drive a victim of
an assault was transported
to Three Rivers Commu-
nity Hospital. No more
information was provided.
*Deputies gave two
people citations for having
an open fire at milepost 10
of Illinois River Road.
*At Six Mile Camp-
ground deputies cited a
man for a campfire at
11:27 p.m.

and Happy Camp. At a
picnic area overlooking
the Indian Creek Drain-
age a doe proved she
wasn’t bashful about be-
ing seen in public. The
doe climbed out from
behind some nearby
trees just beyond a pic-
nic table and lingered for
a photo shoot. The scen-
ery which includes a
view of the Marble Moun-
tain Wilderness and the
Klamath River Canyon
was slightly tarnished
from smoke blowing in
from Oregon wildfires.
