people at a house
were
partying
loudly. Deputies
contacted a man at
the house who said
he would turn off
the music and go to
bed.
*In the 300
block of S. Caves
Avenue a woman
wanted deputies to
check on her 15-
year-old son who
was home alone
because his father
was in the Emer-
gency Room at
Three Rivers Com-
munity Hospital for
a gun shot wound.
Deputies said the
boy was OK and
that he planned to
spend the night at a
friend’s house.
*In the 300
block of S. Junction
Avenue a grandfa-
ther asked deputies
to check on the
same 15-year-old
boy.
*In the 1400
block of Rockydale
Road a man said his
daughter may be a
runaway. He called
back to say she
came home.
*In the 13000
block of Takilma
Road a woman
wanted information
about a restraining
order because a
man was following
her.
*An
anony-
mous person said
there was a dachs-
hund locked in a
hot car in front of a
business in the
18300 block of the
Redwood Hwy.
*An off duty
probation officer
eating at a restau-
rant in the 300
block of S. Red-
wood Hwy. said she
saw one of her cli-
ents
standing
nearby. She wanted
deputies to place a
retainer on a client.
*In the 4700
block of Reeves
Creek Road a citi-
zen said some items
were missing from
his porch.
*Deputies were
required to back up
other officers at 7
p.m. concerning a
citizen that was
arrested for point-
ing a gun at another
driver.
*At mile post
11 of Illinois River
Road a man said
someone threw a
rock through his
car’s
passenger
window. The listed
value of the damage
was $150.
*A woman said
she was being har-
assed over the
phone by a young
man. When con-
fronted by deputies
he denied calling
her more than once.
Friday, July 25
*In the 300
block of East River
Street a woman said
she heard a loud
party going on at a
neighbor’s house.
Deputies talked to
another neighbor in
the area who said
he didn’t hear any-
thing unusual.
*A woman in
the 32000 block of
Redwood
Hwy.
who complained of
phone harassment
was told to contact
her phone company.
*In the 1000
block of Waldo
Road an anony-
mous citizen said
someone was shoot-
ing off fireworks.
Deputies said the
man that lit the fire-
works would not do
it again.
*Deputies were
advised that a re-
possession of an
automobile
was
going to occur in
the 3400 block of
Deer Creek Road at
12:28 p.m.
*At Six Mile
Campground depu-
ties checked on a
report of a loose pit
bull. The owner
said he would keep
it on a leash, depu-
ties said.
*In the 100
block of S. Red-
wood Hwy. a citi-
zen requested help
for a suicidal man.
He was transported
to TRCH.
*At “Forks”
State Park a woman
said someone was
trying to sell com-
pact discs. Deputies
could not find the
man.
*In the 100
block of S. Red-
wood Hwy. a citi-
zen wanted deputies
to check on an in-
toxicated girl that
was sitting on the
steps of a business.
Deputies said she
left the premises, a
passenger in a vehi-
cle.
*Aaron
Lee
Clouser, 28, was
arrested at Jubilee
Park on a warrant
for failure to ap-
pear. The original
charge in the case
was third degree
theft. He was trans-
ported to jail in
Grants Pass.
*A vehicle was
blocking traffic on
the Redwood Hwy.
in Kerby at 4:18
p.m.
*In the 200
block of S. Red-
wood Hwy. Kim-
berly Ann War-
nicke, 46, was cited
and released on a
charge of driving
while suspended.
*In the 400
block of S. Red-
wood Hwy.
a
woman wanted a
suspicious vehicle
removed from the
Junction Inn park-
ing lot. The owner
of the vehicle told
deputies he sold it
two months ago but
would make ar-
rangements to help
get it moved.
*At Lake Sel-
mac a woman said a
man sitting in a
yellow truck was
watching children
play at the lake. A
camper also told
deputies that he saw
the man driving
slowly through the
campsites about
every hour for at
least two days.
Deputies patrolled
the area but did not
see the man.
*Shelley Reney
Hults, 36, was ar-
rested on a warrant
for a charge of pos-
session of a con-
trolled substance.
She was transported
to
Josephine
County Adult Jail in
Grants Pass.
*At Josephine
County Adult Jail
deputies were re-
quired to destroy a
small amount of
what appeared to be
marijuana leaves
found in a cigarette
bag owned by
Aaron Lee Clouser
who was arrested in
Cave Junction on a
warrant earlier in
the day.
*In the 100
block of S. Old
Stage Road
a
woman said there
was a man sitting in
a truck watching
her house at 10:21
p.m. Deputies told
her to call 911 if he
returns.
*In the 100
block of S. Sawyer
Avenue a woman
said she wanted her
husband removed
from her house. The
woman told depu-
ties she had some-
one coming to pick
her up.
Saturday, July 26
*At Lake Sel-
mac Estella Lee
Frankson, 23, was
cited and released
on a warrant for
failure to appear on
a charge of furnish-
ing alcohol to mi-
nors.
*Paul Winfield
Cole, Jr., 40, was
arrested on a charge
of violating a re-
straining order in
the 200 block of
Iron Way. He was
transported to Jose-
phine County Adult
Jail.
*In the 7800
block of Caves
Hwy.
Michael
Mariani, 61, was
confirmed dead by
deputies. The cause
of death was not
listed.
*At Kerbyville
Museum an anony-
mous citizen said
someone driving a
red car was swerv-
ing and speeding on
the Redwood Hwy.
*A woman in
the 100 block of S.
Old Stage Road
said a man was sit-
ting in front of her
house with a “sound
device” pointed at
her house and
boards were miss-
ing from her fence.
She said he could
be some kind of
investigator.
*In the 100
block of White Oak
Drive a woman said
she was concerned
about the welfare of
a woman who had
phoned her after
being in an acci-
dent. Deputies said
the woman that was
in the accident was
OK.
*In the 500
block of S. Red-
wood Hwy. a citi-
zen reported seeing
a man beating up a
woman by a bridge.
Deputies did not see
anybody matching
that description.
*A woman in
the 110 block of
Deer Creek Road
said a man with a
warrant was hitch-
hiking out of town.
Deputies did not
find the man.
*In the 100
block of S. Red-
wood Hwy. a man
flagged down depu-
ties and said he saw
an abandoned vehi-
cle on Finch Road.
Deputies said the
vehicle was totaled
and the vehicle
identification num-
ber was removed.
*In the 200
block of S. Kerby
Avenue a woman
said there was a
squirrel in her yard
acting crazy. It was
running up to her
dogs, jumping into
the air like it was
trying to climb trees
and appeared to be
blind. She wanted
someone to come
and get rid of it.
She called back to
say the squirrel left.
*In the 700
block of Naue Way
a man and woman
carrying a box of
wine were seen hit-
ting each other.
Deputies said there
was no evidence of
a crime and trans-
ported the man to a
residence.
*At “Forks”
State Park a deputy
said two men were
fighting by the
river. Deputies said
it was a mutual
crime between ju-
veniles and that the
victim did not want
to pursue charges.
*In the 38500
block of Redwood
Hwy. a woman said
her neighbors were
yelling at her over
an ongoing property
dispute. Deputies
advised her to lock
her doors and to
call 911 if it contin-
ued.
*In the 24100
block of the Red-
wood Hwy. a man
said someone was
consistently parking
a truck and leaving
manure, hay and
other debris in his
parking lot.
*In the 8400
block of Takilma
Road a man said he
heard a live band
playing too loud
near Takilma Road.
Sunday, July 27
*In the 400
block of Queen of
Bronze Road a man
said he was going
to use his gun to
stop his neighbor’s
loud noises. Depu-
ties were unable to
contact the man.
*In the 8400
block of Takilma
Road a citizen said
a band was playing
loudly again near
Takilma
Road.
Deputies said they
made it “crystal
clear” that a citation
would be issued if
they received any-
more calls about
noise again.
*A bicycle was
turned into the I.V.
Substation with a
name etched next to
the serial number.
*In the 1000
block of Lone
Mountain Road an
anonymous caller
stated that someone
was smoking mari-
juana and drinking
alcohol in front of a
baby. Deputies did-
n’t locate them.
*Deputies were
unable to locate a
group of youngsters
making too much
noise in the 7000
block of Lone
Mountain Road.

The following information is given pursuant to
ORS 86.735 and ORS 86.745:
1. TRUST DEED: The Trust Deed was exe-
cuted by Bill Leahy and Berna G. Leahy, hus-
band and wife as tenants by the entirety, as
Grantor; to First American Title Insurance Com-
pany of Oregon as Trustee; for the benefit of
Donald Lorensen, as Trustee for The Donald
Lorensen Revocable Living Trust under the
agreement dated February 28, 1994, as to an
undivided 1/2 interest, and Karen J. Lorensen,
as Trustee for The Karen J. Lorensen Revoca-
ble Living Trust under agreement dated Febru-
ary 28, 1994, as to an undivided 1/2 interest, as
Beneficiary. The Trust Deed is dated April 26,
2002 and was recorded May 2, 2002 as Docu-
ment No. 2002-009337, Official Records of Jo-
sephine County, Oregon.
2. PROPERTY: The property encumbered by
the Trust Deed is situated in Josephine County,
Oregon and is commonly known as 2301 Laurel
Road, Cave Junction, Oregon, and particularly
described as follows:
PARCEL 2 of PARTITION PLAT NO. 2001-013,
located in the Southeast Quarter of Section 22,
Township 39 South, Range 8 West of the Wil-
lamette Meridian, Josephine County, Oregon.
3. DEFAULTS: This foreclosure is a result of
the following defaults:
Failure to pay monthly installment payments of
$1,550.60 each, falling due on 1st day of April,
2003 and on the 1st day of each month thereaf-
ter.
4. BALANCE OWING: The following sums are
owing on the obligation secured by the Trust
Deed: The entire unpaid principal balance of
$197,234.44 with interest thereon at the rate of
7% per annum from March 23, 2003 until paid.
5. ELECTION TO SELL: As a result of the de-
faults set out above, the beneficiary and the
trustee have elected to sell the property to sat-
isfy the obligations secured by the Trust Deed.
A Notice of Default has been recorded pursuant
to ORS 86.735(3) and the beneficiary has de-
clared all sums owing on the obligations se-
cured by the Trust Deed immediately due and
payable.
6. SALE: The property will be sold in the man-
ner prescribed by law on November, 19, 2003
at 2:00 p.m. in accord with the standard of time
established by ORS 187.110, at 200 West
Lister Street, Cave Junction, Josephine County,
Oregon, which is the office of Mansfield R.
Cleary.
7. RIGHT TO CURE DEFAULT UNDER ORS
86.753: Any person named in ORS 86.753 has
the right, at any time prior to five days before
the date last set for the sale, to have this fore-
closure proceeding dismissed and the Trust
Deed reinstated by payment to the beneficiary
of the entire amount then due (other than the
portion of the principal that would not be due
had no default occurred) together with costs
and expenses actually incurred in enforcing the
obligations, including trustee’s and attorney’s
fees and any sums advanced by the beneficiary
pursuant to the Trust Deed and by curing any
other default complained of herein that is capa-
ble of being cured by tendering the perform-
ance required under the note and Trust Deed.
