Friday, July 18
*Deputies said em-
ployee error caused an au-
dible alarm at Klamath 1st
Bank in Downtown Cave
Junction at 6:51 p.m.
*An
anonymous
woman said campers failed
to put out their campfire at
Six Mile Campground.
Deputies said the campers
returned to put out the fire.
*A teen-ager in the
24500 block of Redwood
Hwy. said her brother was
squeezing her arm and try-
ing to throw her around.
Deputies separated the
siblings, they said.
*In the 400 block of S.
Redwood Hwy. a woman
said her ex-husband and
brother were hiding her
children. Deputies said she
did not have the required
paperwork completed to
get her children because
she had given her brother
legal guardianship.
*A man in the 29000
block of Redwood Hwy.
said someone had built a
bon fire with 10-foot high
flames.
*At Art’s Red Garter
Saloon and Steak House a
man smashed a beer bottle
on the ground and at-
tempted to punch a man.
When taken to the ground
by bouncers he hit his head
and had a cut between his
eyes. Deputies said the
man was taken home by a
friend.
*At My Brother’s Pub
a woman said her motorcy-
cle goggles with a listed
value of $186 were miss-
ing. Deputies filed a report
for second-degree theft.
Saturday, July 19
*A woman reported an
abandoned vehicle was
parked on Rough and
Ready Creek Road.
*In the 6700 block of
Holland Loop a citizen
said a woman had opened
an account in her name.
*A man in the 100
block of Taurus Lane said
someone opened his car
door and made other
noises at 1:31 a.m.
*In the 1500 block of
Rockydale Road a woman
said someone knocked her
mailbox off its post.
*A citizen in the 200
block of S. Redwood Hwy.
said a man tried to remove
an exhaust fan from a busi-
ness. Deputies said the
man was warned for tres-
passing.
*In the 200 block of
Shadowbrook Drive Ryan
Phillip, 18, was cited and
released on a charge of
minor in possession of al-
cohol after someone said
he was yelling at his
mother.
*In the 10400 block of
Takilma Road an anony-
mous resident complained
about a neighbor’s loud
music.
*Daqnny Carrol
Shinault, 40, was cited on
a charge of driving without
a valid operator’s permit
and for driving without
insurance near the intersec-
tion of Redwood Hwy. and
Caves Hwy.
*In the 24000 block of
Redwood Hwy. a woman
said her neighbors were
playing their radio’s bass
so loud she could not hear
her TV.
Sunday, July 20
*At My Brother’s Pub
a man won a $5 game of
pool, but the loser of the
game demanded $25 from
him and threatened him
with a swinging pool cue.
He then fled in a silver-
colored car.
*In the 300 block of
Hamilton Avenue Jessica
Green, 25, of Cave Junc-
tion was placed under a
peace officer’s mental hold
and transported to Three
Rivers Community Hospi-
tal in Grants Pass after be-
ing uncooperative with
deputies.
*At Art’s Red Garter
Saloon and Steak House a
fight between 14 people
broke out at 1:49 a.m.
when some unknown peo-
ple began fighting with
locals. There was no dam-
age to the bar and the of-
fending visitors left before
deputies arrived.
*A vehicle damaged a
fence in the 1700 block of
Laurel Road at 8:57 a.m.
*At Store Gulch a
woman said she heard four
gunshots from a .22 caliber
gun. Deputies found the
man at Store Gulch who
admitted shooting. He put
the gun away.
*A man said he was
assaulted twice at Six Mile
Campground once by his
girlfriend and once by his
daughter’s boyfriend.
Deputies filed a report for
second-degree assault.
*A Toyota Celica was
used by a man without the
owner’s permission in the
100 block of S. Kerby
Avenue. The vehicle was
impounded until the owner
could be identified, depu-
ties said.
*Deputies checked on
a dog tied up without food
and water in the 600 block
of S. Junction Avenue.
Deputies fixed the dog’s
leash and located food and
water.
*Deputies investigated
a possible case of criminal
mischief at Lake Selmac
RV Resort at 11:47 a.m.
*A woman said she
was assaulted on Takilma
Road, but no address was

WALDO WRECK - Eliza-
beth Norman, 44, and
Robert C. Breakfield, 39,
were reported injured in
a single-vehicle crash on
Waldo Road a short dis-
tance west of Rockydale
Road at approximately 7
p.m. on Wednesday, July
30, said the Josephine
County Sheriff’s Office.
Norman was cited on
charges of driving while
suspended violation, no
insurance, and careless
driving. American Medi-
cal
Response
trans-
ported them, and Break-
field later was arrested
under two warrants. Illi-
nois Valley Fire District
also responded with a
deputy and AMR medics.
