*Deputies transported
a woman from Art’s Red
Garter Saloon & Steak-
house to a home in the
1400 block of Rockydale
Road after she was in-
volved in an assault.
*In the 400 block of
Pine Cone Drive deputies
responded to a landlord
and tenant dispute.
*At 12:03 p.m. in the
900 block of Caves Hwy.
deputies notified a man
that his son had committed
suicide. Deputies said fam-
ily members had already
informed him.
*Deputies responded
to a non-injury accident
that occurred at Store
Gulch at 4:10 p.m.
*A man reported a
family camping at Bolen
Lake was missing after
taking a hike at 4:38 p.m.
Deputies said the family
was located.
*In the 7200 block of
Holland Loop Road a
woman in a process of
buying a house said a tran-
sient man was drinking a
beer while sitting on her
future porch. The man was
gone when deputies ar-
rived, they said.
*Deputies looked for a
man reportedly trespassing
at some apartments in the
700 block of Caves Hwy.
The property manager said
he was not supposed to be
on the property.
*In the 2700 block of
Cave Hwy. a man was
having a custody dispute
with a woman after she
had not returned her child
for a week. Deputies said
the couple handled the
matter themselves.
*In the 100 block of
Finch Road a man wanted
deputies to quiet down
barking dogs at his
neighbor’s house. Deputies
contacted Animal Control.
*At 11:38 p.m. the
same man who complained
about his neighbor’s loud
dogs said he was mad at
the deputies for not leaving
any paperwork at the
neighbor’s residence alert-
ing them of the problem.
He requested an appoint-
ment to speak with a su-
pervisor.
*An alarm went off at
Kerbyville Museum at
5:29 a.m.
*A man said someone
dumped the dead body of a
bear on his property in the
800 block of Crooks Creek
Road at 9:15 a.m.
*A cell phone and
pager found at Shop Smart
were turned in to deputies
at the I.V. Substation.
*A woman in the 100
block of Tracy Lane said
she accidentally pushed the
“911” button on her phone
when she was hanging it
up at 3:08 p.m.
*Someone called 911
for no apparent reason at
the Cave Junction Pool
public phone.
*At milepost 26 of
Redwood Hwy. a citizen
said a logging truck was
being driven recklessly.
*A company told
deputies they were going
to repossess a fifth wheel
trailer in the 6000 block of
Deer Creek Road.
*In the 33000 block of
Redwood Hwy. a citizen
said there was a fugitive in
a pickup truck.
*In the 600 block of
Fredrick Court a woman
said a neighbor girl was
taking pictures of her chil-
dren. Deputies said no
crime was committed.
*A man said two teen-
aged boys wearing back
packs were carrying a pro-
pane tank in the 200 block
of E. Lister Street.
*In the 1000 block of
Norman Road a man said
someone had thrown rocks
at his dogs.
*A man in the 1400
block of Lakeshore Drive
said he was worried after
hearing his name on a po-
lice scanner.
Wednesday, July 9
*In the 500 block of
Caves Hwy. a man said his
caregiver had not arrived
for work at 1:36 a.m.
*In the 18000 block of
Redwood Hwy. a man said
someone entered his busi-
ness through a window and
that approximately $3,000
was missing at 10:14 a.m.
*A woman in the 900
block of Illinois River
Road said a man threat-
ened her with bodily harm
and threatened to take a
chain to her vehicle when
she went to retrieve her
things from his house.
*In the 100 block of
Hogue Drive a woman said
a 22-month-old child had
gasoline in her eyes. Depu-
ties said a doctor washed
her eyes until medics ar-
rived.
*In the 600 block of
Caves Hwy. a woman said
a man was fondling her
and had previously forced
her into an unwanted sex
act. Deputies said they re-
ferred the call to the Major
Crimes unit.
*A woman in the
23000 block of Redwood
Hwy. said a former boy-
friend was stalking her,
prowling at her house late
at night and making verbal
threats.
*In the 100 block of S.
Sawyer Avenue a man was
warned by deputies after
he road a quad motorcycle
onto other people’s proper-
ties.
*In the 3200 block of
Holland Loop Road a car
rolled over and was block-
ing traffic at 9:52 p.m. No
victims were found al-
though a witness saw some
men in a nearby field.
Deputies said they filed a
report for failure to leave a
name at the scene of an
accident and for property
damage.

*At 2:49 a.m. a
woman said she heard a
prowler outside her house
and that her power went
out in the 23000 block of
Redwood Hwy. Deputies
said they were unable to
locate a prowler.
*A man said a dog was
barking for more than a
half an hour near the inter-
section of Rockydale Road
and Martin Road.
*At the base of Hay’s
Hill deputies stopped a
vehicle that fit the descrip-
tion of a prowler reported
earlier at 4:18 a.m.
*An anonymous citi-
zen in the 2100 block of
Laurel Road said a
neighbor habitually plays
his music really loud, gets
drunk and passes out, leav-
ing the rest of the
neighbors to enjoy his
tunes late into the night.
*In the 500 block of
Hummingbird Road a man
said his son’s car was
taken from his residence
without his permission and
was involved in an acci-
dent. Deputies said the
driver had permission from
the son.
*Dawn Andrea Soule,
41, was cited on a charge
of driving while suspended
at 10:39 a.m. in the 100
block of S. Redwood Hwy.
*A man said some bar
bouncers confiscated a gun
from an irate customer
who had an argument with
another patron at a bar in
Downtown Cave Junction.
Deputies said they took the
gun for evidence.
*In the 500 block of
Caves Hwy. a man said his
wife’s wedding ring with a
listed value of $2,000 was
missing.
*In the 100 block of
Dogwood Lane a man said
a woman may have over-
dosed on librium at 4:10
p.m. She was transported
to TRCH in Grants Pass.
*A woman served with
72 hours notice to leave
her apartment had a verbal
dispute with her landlord
in the 3500 block of
Rockydale Road.
*A woman said her
purse was missing from
her shopping cart at Shop
Smart at 6:07 p.m. The
purse contained $450 cash,
credit cards, a Social Secu-
rity card and alien docu-
ments, she said.
*In the 400 block of
Redwood Hwy. a citizen
said a man was kicking a
woman.
*In the 200 block of N.
Redwood Hwy. a former
employee threatened her
boss stating “watch out for
yourself,” at 9:40 p.m.
*A man in the 1800
block of Crooks Creek
road said a suspicious man
came to his house and said
he was looking for some-
one named Garcia. The
resident didn’t believe him
and wanted deputies to
