Wednesday, July 2
*In the 100 block of S.
Redwood Hwy. a woman
said that an elderly woman
described “so much pain
she wanted to kill herself.”
Deputies said she was up-
set over a recent surgery.
*Two men ran from a
vehicle on Boundry Lane
after a woman heard a loud
bang. The vehicle had a
broken windshield and
back window. Deputies
advised the men to remove
the vehicle, but said that
no crime was committed.
*A man hitch-hiking
on Caves Hwy. said that he
left his psychotropic medi-
cation in a vehicle he was
riding in. To get the pre-
scription refilled, he said
he needed a police report.
*A bicycle with a
listed value of $475 was
reported missing from a
barn in the 25600 block of
Redwood Hwy.
*In the 24500 block of
Redwood Hwy. a man said
that a teen-age boy walked
into his residence and took
his marijuana. The man got
the marijuana back and
destroyed it. Deputies
warned the teen-ager for
trespassing.
*Continual phone calls
complaining that neighbors
are cannibals were said to
be received in the 200
block of Kerby Mainline.
*A citizen was con-
cerned about a dog running
in traffic on Hay’s Hill at
4:03 p.m. Deputies con-
tacted Animal Control.
*In the 100 block of S.
Old Stage Road a man re-
ported that an intoxicated
driver was reckless.
*A non-injury traffic
accident occurred on Bea-
ver Meadow Road at 7:46
p.m.
*In the 500 block of
Udee Road a woman said
that her mother left a mes-
sage on her answering ma-
chine saying her deceased
husband wanted her to kill
another woman. Deputies
contacted the woman and
said everything was OK.
*In the 33000 block of
Redwood Hwy. a man re-
ported a couple was argu-
ing with each other.
*There was a shared
driveway dispute in the
3000 block of Lone Moun-
tain Road.
Wednesday, July 2
*At the top of Hay’s
Hill deputies contacted
OSP to help two woman
with a blown transmission.
*Robin Elizabeth
Sliger, 43, was cited on
charges of illegal U-turn,
following too close, and
failure to obey a traffic
sign at 409 S. Redwood
Hwy. at 8:40 a.m.
*A fawn was hit near
the intersection of Happy
Camp Road and Queen of
Bronze Road in Takilma.
*In the 900 block of
Westside Road a man said
that he found a small mari-
juana plant and a bag of
“shake” (marijuana dregs).
Deputies contacted Jose-
phine Interagency Narcot-
ics Team.
*Deputies were unable
to locate a fugitive on
Madrona Drive. He report-
edly fled to Idaho before
deputies arrived.
*In the 300 block of N.
Hussey Avenue a woman
said that a child was yell-
ing and screaming at 5:16
p.m. He was counseled.
*A citizen said that an
intoxicated man was trying
to force his way into a ve-
hicle on the Junction Inn
parking lot. Then the
drunken man was seen uri-
nating on the middle of
Caves Hwy.
*Deputies said that
fireworks ignited near Ev-
ergreen Elementary School
were legal at 9:44 p.m.
*Someone left a vehi-
cle on a woman’s parking
lot in the 7200 block of
Rockydale Road at 10:22
p.m. Someone returned to
remove it.
Thursday, July 3
*In the 24500 block of
Redwood Hwy. a woman
said that she saw a boy, 6,
break a light on a vehicle.
The light had a listed value
of $125.
*A woman in the
29000 block of Redwood
Hwy. said that her son was
involved in a car accident
with an uninsured and
unlicensed driver.
*An intoxicated driver
was seen driving recklessly
near the intersection of
Redwood Hwy. and Caves
Hwy. at 5:13 p.m.
*In the 1000 block of
Thompson Creek Road a
woman said that she
needed a deputy to help
her calm things down with
her husband.
*At Lake Selmac a
man said that a youngster
took a 12-pack of beer
from his campground.
Deputies said they could
locate neither the com-
plainant nor the boy.
*A woman on Lake-
shore Drive said someone
was throwing firecrackers
out a car window.
*A woman in the
24500 block of Redwood
Hwy. said that five or six
people with bats (probably
baseball) were having a
fight next to her trailer.
The fight broke up before
deputies arrived.
Friday, July 4
*Deputies responded
to a two-car injury acci-
dent involving three chil-
dren near the intersection
of Redwood Hwy. and
Draper Valley Road at
1:59 p.m. I.V. Fire District
handled extrication;
American Medical Re-
sponse handled care and
transport.
*In the 400 block of S.
Junction Avenue a man
said that someone entered
a vacant house. A oil
heater with a listed value
of $2,000 was reported
missing.
*Deputies said that
everything was OK in the
200 block of Simmons Cut
Drive after a panic alarm

was accidentally set off.
*Bobby Dale Grace,
31, was cited on a charge
of driving while suspended
on Kerby Mainline Road.
*In the 33000 block of
Redwood Hwy. a man said
that several teen-age boys
were lighting bottle rockets
and other loud fireworks at
10:54 p.m.
Saturday, July 5
*Loud fireworks were
blasting in the 500 block of
Udee Road in O’Brien at
12:02 a.m., a woman said.
*A second fireworks
complaint from Udee Road
was called in at 12:57 a.m.
*In the 27000 block of
Redwood Hwy. a man said
that a domestic violence
complaint was only verbal.
*A medical aide re-
ported that two men, re-
portedly stabbed at Lake
Selmac, were being treated
in the Three Rivers Com-
munity Hospital (TRCH)
emergency room in Grants
Pass at 1:51 a.m.
*A woman on Mau-
reen Drive said that she
was hallucinating; that her
