Monday, June 23
*In the 100 block of
Masters Drive a woman
involved in a custody bat-
tle who had been threat-
ened earlier in the day
heard her screen door wig-
gle and heard steps on her
gravel in the carport at
1:40 a.m. Deputies said
everything was OK.
*A woman in the 500
block of W. River Street
said a man who has suf-
fered from health problems
was fainting and uncon-
scious at 12:07 p.m. Depu-
ties said they found Rich-
ard Stein, 60, dead on the
scene.
*In the 18400 block of
Redwood Hwy. a woman
said she had a man that
police were looking for
with her in a parking lot at
3:46 p.m. Deputies said
they did not locate the ve-
hicle.
*A woman in the 9000
block of Takilma Road
complained of a minor in-
jury after a neighbor alleg-
edly pushed her to the
ground concerning a prop-
erty dispute. Deputies
warned the neighbor about
blocking an easement.
*A citizen said some
youngsters were blowing
up home made explosives
near Evergreen Elementary
School at 8:57 p.m.
*In the 2000 block of
Rockydale Road a woman
said someone was trespass-
ing on her road. Deputies
advised the woman to
place a bear cage across
her road to stop the vehi-
cles.
*In the 28000 block of
Redwood Hwy an alarm
went off. Deputies said the
business was OK.
Tuesday, June 24
*In the 12000 block of
Illinois River Road a man
said he saw a suspicious
vehicle at 2:52 a.m.
*A woman in the 200
block of Old Stage Road
said a man with a shotgun
in his hand who often talks
about the German Militia
knocked on her door.
When she answered the
door he said “Oh, I’m
sorry.” The woman said he
did not point the shotgun at
her. Deputies warned the
man about his behavior.
*Brandon Henry, 21,
was cited and released on a
warrant at the I.V. sub sta-
tion at 9:31 a.m.
*At Junction Inn a
man said a truck on the
parking lot had some blood
on it and a gun inside.
Deputies contacted the
owner of the truck and said
there was no evidence of a
crime being committed
and the gun checked out.
*At Lake Selmac a
man camping said his
Chevrolet pick-up was
keyed. Deputies started an
investigation into second-
degree criminal mischief.
*In the 2500 block of
Reeves Creek Road a citi-
zen said her neighbor was

firing a gun at 6:59 p.m.
The neighbor said he was
target shooting with
friends and firing safely.
Deputies advised her of
her options regarding the
noise ordinance.
*A woman in the 2300
block of Holland Loop
Road said she was having
an ongoing domestic prob-
lem with her husband.
Deputies said the man was
going to leave the house
for the night.
*An anonymous man
said he was run off the
road by a possibly intoxi-
cated driver near the inter-
section of Redwood Hwy.
and Deer Creek Road at
9:12 p.m.
Wednesday, June 25
*In the 24500 block of
Redwood Hwy. a citizen
said some neighbors were
yelling and playing loud
music at 12:33 a.m.
*In the 100 block of N.
Redwood Hwy. a woman
said her supply shed was
possibly broken into and
items were removed at
9:13 a.m.
*In the 400 block of S.
Redwood Hwy. a citizen
said someone was trying to
steal fireworks from a tent
over the past three nights
despite the fact that some-
one was sleeping in the
tent.
*In the 300 block of
Hamilton Avenue a
woman said a red Volks-
wagen Bug with a loud
muffler was exceeding the
speed limit in her
neighborhood.
*In the 100 block of
Hogue Drive a woman said
she was having a property
line dispute with a
neighbor at 12:55 p.m.
*In the 400 block of
Draper Valley Road a
woman said she was
speaking with her aunt on
the phone when her aunt
said “What was that?” and
the line went dead. Depu-
ties said the aunt was OK.
*William D. Propper
was cited on a charge of
speeding on the Redwood
Hwy. in Kerby at 7:30
p.m.
*In the 24000 block of
Redwood Hwy. an anony-
mous citizen complained
of loud music coming
from a neighbor’s resi-
dence at 3:10 p.m.
*A man on S. Old
Stage Road said a 16-year-
old boy pushed his daugh-
ter’s car into a ditch with
his vehicle and was laugh-
ing about it. Deputies
warned the boy about his
driving habits.
*In the 400 block of S.
Redwood Hwy. a man said
two suspicious teenage
boys were sneeking around
the tents adjacent to Junc-
tion Inn at 9:54 p.m.
Thursday, June 26
*A citizen said a tran-
sient man was passed out
