Monday, June 16
*In the 1200 block of
Illinois River Road a
woman said someone sold
her horses without her per-
mission. Deputies said the
sellers were gathering the
required paperwork to jus-
tify the sale.
Tuesday, June 17
*A woman on Eight
Dollar Mountain Road said
she was told by two camp-
ers that a man camping in
the area with them went to
get a pizza and never re-
turned. Deputies said it
was a case of miscommu-
nication.
Wednesday, June 18
*A man said a stop
sign in his backyard was
dragged there during a
New Year’s party. Depu-
ties contacted county
crews to pick up the sign.
*In the 8000 block of
Deer Creek Road a man
said a neighbor tried to get
at him through his car win-
dow with a weed cutter.
Then he drove up and
down his driveway trying
to get him to fight. A
neighbor tried to videotape
the antics of the two men
but they acted “normal”
when she turned on the
camera, deputies said.
*A man said a sign in
the roadway almost caused
some youngsters to get hit
by cars at the intersection
of Waldo Road and
O’Brien Road.
*In the 700 block of
Caves Hwy. a citizen said
a trespassing woman was
yelling and screaming ob-
scenities.
*At the intersection of
Dick George Road and
Beaver Meadow Road a
woman said she heard
seven gun shots. Deputies
said they were unable to
locate any shooters.
*A stop sign was
knocked over at the inter-
section of Beaver Meadow
Road and Dick George
Road.
*William H. Veader,
49, was cited on charges of
driving with no insurance
and expired registration
near the intersection of
Myrna Lane and Redwood
Hwy.
*In the 18000 block of
Redwood Hwy. a citizen
said a vehicle was ran off
the road by another vehi-
cle. Deputies said they did
not locate any such vehi-
cles.
Thursday, June 19
*A woman said a man
was screaming behind Se-
lect Market in Downtown
Cave Junction at 3:04 a.m.
*Teo Rasmussen, 17,
was cited on charges of
driving without a valid
operator’s permit and driv-
ing without insurance at
8:17 a.m. in the 26000
block of the Redwood
Hwy.
*Deputies received a
noise complaint from the
10000 block of Takilma
Road at 12:26 p.m.
*A woman said some-
one caused $50 worth of
damage to her vehicle and
left a suspicious note on it
on the Select Market park-
ing lot in Downtown Cave
Junction at 1:39 p.m.
*A woman reported
another woman was tres-
passing on her property in
the 38500 block of Red-
wood Hwy.
*In the 10700 block of
Takilma Road a woman
reported a runaway teen-
ager. The woman said she
located the teen-ager at
another residence but
could not get in touch with
her.
*In the 4300 block of
Dick George Road a citi-
zen said a man was shoot-
ing a gun in an unsafe
manner. The man told
deputies he was being har-
assed and that he had an
adequate backstop.
*In the 300 block of S.
Redwood Hwy. a citizen
said a man was trying to
sell a stolen van for $500.
Deputies could not locate
the vehicle or the man.
*A citizen in the 4800
block of Holland Loop
Road said a 4-foot tall lynx
attacked her goats at 6:38
p.m.
*A woman in the 100
block of Hummingbird
Lane said she had the li-
cense plate number of a
suspicious vehicle that
may have been involved in
a theft.

*In the 24000 block of
Redwood Hwy. a citizen
reported a verbal dispute at
11:13 p.m.
Friday, June 20
*Timothy Allen Dar-
row, 18, was cited and re-
leased on a charge of third-
degree theft at Shop Smart
in Downtown Cave Junc-
tion at 3:05 p.m.
*A man in the 24300
block of Redwood Hwy.
said his ex-girlfriend used
his debit card without his
permission. Deputies said
the case was unfounded as
a crime.
*At Select Market in
Downtown Cave Junction
a woman said two citizens
were yelling at each other
and the scene was “getting
ugly” after a traffic acci-
dent at 5:40 p.m.
*A man asked deputies
to contact a couple at the
Iron Horse Rodeo at Lake
Selmac about a sick rela-
tive. Deputies gave the
information to security
guards to transmit over the
