Monday, Dec. 23
*At 5:45 p.m., a woman
on Waldo Road complained
that someone entered the
place she was staying without
her permission and removed
several of her things.
Thursday, Dec. 26
*At 2:50 p.m. a deputy
made a welfare check on chil-
dren in a family on White
Schoolhouse Road. The chil-
dren were fine.
Friday, Dec. 27
*Someone apparently
threw a rock sometime during
the night and broke a window
at the I.V. Family Resource
Center. The incident was re-
ported at 7:37 a.m.
*A 911 hang-up call was
reported at 9:46 a.m. in the
300 block of Millie Street.
*Another 911 hang-up
call was reported in the 400
block of Aquarius Way. Turns
out that some grandchildren
were playing with a phone.
*A juvenile person was
counseled after making a 911
hang-up call from the 600
block of Sherwood Avenue.
*At 2:58 p.m. a suspi-
cious vehicle was checked at
the Selma scales. It turned out
that the vehicle belonged to
kayakers in the river.
*Animal Control was to
check on animals after a man
in the 2600 block of Holland
Loop complained that his
neighbor’s livestock weren’t
being properly cared for.
*Gerardo Rojas, 56, was
lodged in Josephine County
Jail, for an outstanding war-
rant, after a traffic stop at W.
Lister Street and Hussey Ave-
nue at 3:29 p.m.
*At 3:48 p.m., there was a
non-injury motor vehicle acci-
dent in the 200 block of Finch
Road. Jonathan Marcus
Farmer, 18, was cited on a
charge of careless driving.
*A deputy checked the
9000 block of Takilma Road
for a possibly intoxicated
woman, after a man called at
3:17 p.m. to report that the
woman had hit him, and
would not leave his house.
*Kenneth Carl Crissup Jr.
was arrested in Corpus
Christi, Texas, on a Josephine
County felony warrant for
three counts of first-degree
theft.
*A man in the 9000 block
of Takilma Road called at
9:28 p.m. to complain that his
“crack house” neighbors were
playing loud music.
*A man was escorted
from Art’s Red Garter Saloon
& Steak House by a deputy,
after a bartender complained
about him at 10:17 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 28
*At 1:48 a.m., a woman
in the 100 block of Hussey
Avenue complained that there
were about five people hang-
ing out on the parking lot of a
bar. There was no evidence of
a fight. The five were “86’d”
from the lot for the night.
*A man in the 400 block
of Dick George Road was
worried about abuse of an
elderly neighbor. Apparently,
the older man has Alz-
heimer’s and bruised his el-
bow after a pipe was taken
from him.
*Five pitbulls attacked
her, a woman in the 36000
block of Redwood Hwy. said,
when she tried to break up a
fight between them and her
dogs.
Sunday, Dec. 29
*At 7:24 a.m., a guy was
warned about the hours at
“Forks” Park.

*There was a complaint
of domestic violence in pro-
gress in the 300 block of
Pinecone Way. A man left,
and there was no evidence of
a crime at 2:09 in the after-
noon.
*There was a strange 911
hang-up call at 8:14 p.m. from
the 100 block of Hogue
Drive. A man and woman
where overheard possibly
crying, or arguing about
money.
Monday, Dec. 30
*A woman in the 1200
block of Illinois River Road
complained at 9:42 a.m. that
her neighbor’s boys had
placed a board with spikes in
it on her driveway and that
this damaged her tires.
*At 11:32 a.m., a man
from the 30000 block of Red-
wood Highway stopped at the
C.J. substation to request a
welfare check on an elderly
man living near Rough &
Ready Flats. The deputy fol-
lowed this man to the elderly
man’s house. The elderly man
then agreed to go to the hospi-
tal with the man who re-
quested the welfare check.
*James Anthony Lam-
birth, 18, was cited on a
handicap parking violation
charge at Selma Select Mar-
ket at 1:54 p.m.
*At 2:24 p.m., Robyn
Marie Hormel, 55, was cited
on a handicap parking viola-
tion charge.
*At 2:38 p.m. a man com-
plained that on Prottsman
Way, off Westside Road, that
a culvert was plugged, caus-
ing water to spill onto the
road.
*A women complained
about a suspicious event at
8:04 a.m. Apparently her
stepmother had been tamper-
ing with her medications.
*Assistance was rendered
to a stranded motorist and
small child between Deer
Creek and Draper Valley at
3:29 p.m.
*At 3:55 p.m. a man in
the 3000 block of Rockydale
Road complained of a suspi-
cious vehicle left on the inside
of a fence on a driveway.
Turns out the person that
owned the vehicle ran out of
gas and had gone to get more.
*A man in the 500 block
of Martin Road contacted the
substation because he caught
his neighbor’s dogs chasing
his cattle. He had shot and
killed one and possibly
wounded the other.
*After two years, a man
in the 30000 block of Red-
wood Hwy. located his miss-
ing flatbed trailer. He will
pick it up in a week.
*There was some sort of
an unknown problem in the
300 block of Fir Drive. Assis-
tance was rendered, and eve-
rything was OK after some-
one got some kind of a ma-
chine working again.
*Some people in the
24000 block of Redwood
Hwy. reported an incident of
a man screaming, and cars
leaving a residence. A man
was contacted at the resi-
dence, but denied involve-
ment or knowledge of the in-
cident.
*A man in the 100 block
of S. Hussey Avenue pushed
the wrong button on his new
phone and inadvertently made
a 911 hang-up call.
Tuesday, Dec. 31
*At 7:42 in the morning a
man reported that a tree was
down in the middle of the
road near Foris Vineyard.
*In the 24000 block of
Redwood Hwy., a women
complained of obscene phone
calls concerning her daughter.
A deputy provided options.
*A woman was warned of
driving with an obstructed
windshield at 10:40 a.m. on
the corner of Redwood and
Caves highways.
*A man heard a very loud
explosion near Draper Valley
Road and Redwood Hwy. It
was a blown tire.
*A deputy stood by to
keep the peace, while one man
retrieved personal property
from the vehicle of another
man on the Junction Inn park-
ing lot at 1:42 p.m.
*Assistance was rendered
to an extremely intoxicated
man who kept falling down in
Art’s Red Garter Saloon and
Steak House at 2 p.m. The
man’s wife was called to
come and get him.
*At 3:57 p.m. Robert C.
Sanders, 42, was cited on a
charge of driving while sus-
pended.
*Zacharia H. Pierce, 19,
was cited on a charge of driv-
ing while suspended.
*At 5:15 p.m., Laura Mar-
garet O’Grady, 36, was cited
on a charge of driving while
suspended.
*In the 22000 block of
Redwood Hwy. a deputy was
looking for a man.
*At 7:06 p.m., a women
reported hearing what she
thought were gun shots and
someone yelling.
Wednesday, Jan. 1
*Lots of shots were heard
in the 100 block of Junction
Avenue at 2:37 a.m.
*At 12:44 a.m., shots
were heard in the 100 block of
Hogue Drive.
*A woman and two of her
children were transported to a
safe place after she reported
domestic violence in progress
at 2:14 a.m.
*At 1:10 a.m. there was a
complaint about unauthorized
use of a vehicle. It then
showed up on the Selma Se-
lect Market parking lot, al-
though the keys were not in
the vehicle.
*A woman received a dis-
turbing call from her ex-
boyfriend telling her he did
not want to live anymore. He
said he had pointed a gun at a
friend, and that the gun dis-
charged in a vehicle.
*In the 100 block of S.
Sawyer Avenue, Duane Lee
Quall Jr., 37, was cited on a
charge of violating the county
noise ordinance at 2:28 p.m.
*In the 100 block of S.
Sawyer Avenue, someone was
cautioned about an extremely
violent and hostile man at 3:12
p.m.
*At 3:15 p.m. a man in the
100 block of S. Sawyer Ave-
nue was warned by a deputy
that if he didn’t stop harassing
another man, he would be
taken to jail.
*A woman reported that
her neighbor was shooting his
rifle at 5:59 p.m., in the 500
block of Terrace Heights
Drive.
*There was a report of a
man and woman fighting as
they walked down the 200
block of N. Redwood Hwy. at
7:15 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 2
*A deputy at Holland
Loop and Hayes Cut Off Road
reported light bursts every
three seconds that were light-
ing up the sky at 3:44 a.m.
The lights were coming from
