This course will be held 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21. There is a fee. The instructor is Donna Love of SBDC. “Your Business Plan- Roadmap to Success” ex- plains how to develop a busi- ness plan and chart a course to business success. It includes business plan basics, and a marketing and financial plan. Those enrolled also will have access to the RCC SBDC computer lab, and will use Word and Excel. The 15- hour course will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Jan. 22 until Feb. 19. There is a fee, and the in- structor is Marc Graton. “Taking Charge: Making Decisions and Solving Prob- lems” teaches students how to effectively make decisions and solve problems. This course will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23. There is a fee, and the in- structor is Love. “Oregon’s Economy and Your Bottom Line” will show how using Oregon’s Labor Market Information System can improve a business. Stu- dents will learn how to locate current industry trends and information on the local econ- omy and workforce for writ- ing a business plan, applying for grants or planning expan- sion. They’ll also learn to lo- cate vendors, investigate the competition or current wage information. This course will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Jan. 24. There is a fee, and the instructor is Aino- ura Oussenbec, workforce analyst/economist, Oregon Employment Dept. “Paging the Web” teaches students a new and easy way to create Web pages using Paging the Web text and soft- ware package, which is in- cluded. Prerequisite: must have basic computer knowledge. This course will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 25, and Feb. 1. There is a fee, which includes the text and template. The instructor is Marta Wilson. All classes will be held at the RCC Small Business De- velopment Center, 214 S.W. Fourth St., Grants Pass. Course fees do not include a once-per-term RCC $5 fee.
