Deed made by JULIE MOORE-THORNHILL, a married woman
as grantor’s, to Josephine County Title, as Trustee in favor of

Commencing at the northeast corner of the southeast quarter of

Both the beneficiary and the trustee have elected to sell the
said real property to satisfy the obligations secured by said trust
deed and notice has been recorded pursuant to Section 86.735
(3) of Oregon Revised Statues: the default for which the foreclo-
sure is made is the grantor’s failure to pay the monthly payments
in the amount of $1,374.65 due beginning September 1, 2002
and monthly late charges in the amount of $68.73 and subse-
quent installments due thereafter, together with all subsequent
sums advanced by beneficiary pursuant to the terms and condi-
tions of said deed of trust. Trustee’s fees and other costs and
expenses associated with this foreclosure and any further breach
of any term or condition in subject note and deed of trust. By
reason of said default, the beneficiary has declared all obligations
secured by said Trust Deed immediately due and payable, said

1. Principal of $159,620.63 and accruing interest as of

TITLE INSURANCE COMPANY, c/o Attorneys Equity National

public auction to the highest bidder for cash the interest in the
said described real property which is grantor had or had power to
convey at the time of the execution by him of the said trust deed,
together with any interest which the grantor or his successors in

“beneficiary” include their respective successors in interest, if
any.
The right under ORS 86.753 to have the proceeding dismissed
and the trust deed reinstated by payment of the entire amount
then due, together with costs, trustee’s and attorney’s fees, and
by curing any other default complained of in the notice of default,
at any time prior to five days before the date last set for the sale.

Friday, Dec. 20
*Jo Anne Bellah, 41, was
cited near milepost 30 on
Redwood Hwy. on charges of
failure to carry proof of insur-
ance and to register a vehicle.
*A crime involving a gun
and a knife was reported in
the Lister Street area. It was
found that there was no
crime.
*Reports of a man
“tearing up the property” in
the 100 block of Krauss Lane
was noted. The complainant
stated that the man had disre-
garded survey posts.
*Harassment was re-
ported in the 200 block of S.
Old Stage Road at 11:26 a.m.
The complainant stated that
occupants of a vehicle that
had driven by had yelled ob-
scenities at him, saying, “You
should be killed.”
*A transient was
“trespassed” from the Selma
Post Office at 3:19 p.m. He
was reported as smoking
cigarettes in the lobby and
asking customers for money.
*Vehicular hit-and-run
involving two vehicles was
reported at Evergreen Ele-
mentary School at 3:32 p.m.
*Two young people
“dumped” a small puppy in
the lobby of the I.V. Substa-
tion around 4:16 p.m.
*Owen Gilliam, 58, was
cited on the Dairy Queen
parking lot at 8:09 p.m. on a
charge of failure to obey a
traffic control device
*Michael Austin Brooks,
18, was cited on a charge of
driving 44 mph in a 30 mph
zone in the 25000 block of
Redwood Hwy. at 8:33 p.m.
*A non-injury motor ve-
hicle accident (MVA) was
reported in area of Waldo
Road and Samarkand Drive.
The driver had missed a
bridge and flipped over the
edge.
Sunday, Dec. 21
*Illinois Valley Fire Dis-
trict responded to an engine
compartment fire in a private
bus near milepost 25 of Red-
wood Hwy at 9:24 a.m. The
vehicle had been involved in
a minor MVA on Saturday,
Dec. 20. The vehicle was re-
moved from the road.
*After almost being run
over on the parking lot of a
Selma Tavern, a complainant
stated that the person driving
the offending vehicle was
headed toward Cave Junc-
tion.
*Steven W. Sampley, 53,
was transported to Three Riv-
ers Community Hospital
(TRCH) after being involved
in a traffic accident in the 300
block of Old Stage Road at
1:57 p.m.
*In the 5000 block of
Thompson Creek, a woman
reported that two and later
one individual(s) had been
driving fast up and down her
street.
*I.V. Fire District re-
sponded to a report of a flue
fire in the 800 block of Three
Mill Road at 4:13 p.m. Upon
arrival firefighters found it
unsafe to cross the McMullen
Creek bridge.
*Mark A. Grondahl, 18,
was transported to TRCH
after he was involved in an
MVA approximately 7 miles
up Onion Mountain Road.
*Death of a dog was re-
ported in the 4000 block of
Caves Hwy. at 3:29 p.m.
*David L. Bybee, 52 was
arrested on a charge of shop-
lifting at Shop Smart.
*Harassment was re-
ported in the 600 block of
Hummingbird Road at 9:09
p.m.
*American Medical Re-
sponse medics went to help
an unconscious man in the
1600 block of Rockydale
Road at 9:13 p.m.
*It was reported that a
pickup truck was speeding
and had almost run an ambu-
lance off the road in the area
of Redwood Hwy. and
Reeves Creek at 10:36 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 22
*An abandoned National
Trust Service vehicle from
Del Norte County was re-
ported in the 1200 block of
Illinois River Road shortly
after midnight.
*A domestic disturbance
was reported in the 500 block
of Laurel Road at 1:52 a.m.
*Heavy damage to a ve-
hicle was reported on the Red
Garter parking lot at 2:52
a.m. The complainant stated
he believed the damage was
caused on the lot.
*A mother in the 500

checking out contents of
mailboxes, came from the
9600 block of Takilma Road
at 9 p.m.
*Theft of 20 sheets of
tempered glass and two insu-
lated sliding glass doors was
reported in the 9600 block of
Takilma Road. Estimated loss
of property is approximately
$2,500.
*The owner of Patrick
Creek Lodge reported that
three individuals were
“causing a ruckus” because
the lodge was closed.
Monday, Dec. 23
*Fernando Dominguez
Jr., 30, was cited on a charge
of driving while suspended
by violation (DWSV) in the
area of Kerby Avenue and
Josephine Avenue at 7:52
a.m.
*A hit-and-run accident
was reported on the Shop
Smart parking lot at 8:55 a.m.
*A mother said that her
10-year-old daughter had
been kidnapped by their land-
lord and taken to Coos Bay
against her will. The parties
involved were contacted and
found to be fine.
*Burglary was reported
in the 400 block of Robinson
Corner Road at 9:43 a.m.
Tools were taken from a
house under construction.
*Animal Control re-
sponded to a report of an in-
jured large brown dog in the
33000 block of Redwood
Hwy. at 4:13 p.m.
*Theft of a backpack
containing personal items
was noted in the 200 block of
N. Redwood Hwy. at 6:54
p.m.
*Harry Leland Webb, 61,
was cited on a charge of
speeding near milepost 36 of
Redwood Hwy. at 8:56 p.m.
*Assistance was offered
a stranded motorist near mile-
post 18 of Redwood Hwy. at
9:53 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 24
*Chester Martin Aggeler,
58, was cited to appear on a
charge of driving under the
influence of intoxicants
(DUII) and on a charge of
visible emissions in the 800
block of Caves Hwy.
*A woman in the 100
block of Junction Avenue
reported that when she ar-
rived home her front door
was open.
*An officer responded to
a non-injury MVA on the
parking lot of Shop Smart in
at 4:01 p.m.
*Janeen Lee Shawaluk,
27, was cited on a charge of
DWSV and no liability insur-
ance near Caves Hwy. and
Chapman Creek Road.
*At 11:59 p.m. there
were reports of the sound of
hooves on the roofs of several
homes in Illinois Valley.
Thursday, Dec. 26
*At 1:30 a.m. an em-
ployee at a Downtown Cave
Junction bar reported that a
man who appeared to have
been drinking was pounding
on the door, stating he was
looking for his keys. The man
was asked to leave and did.
*Computer error was
blamed for a 911 hang-up call
in the 200 block of Smith
Sawyer Road at 1:26 p.m.
*Recovery of stolen
property at residence in the
22000 block of Redwood
Hwy. led to discovery of a
black pouch containing plas-
tic bags with a white sub-
stance in them.
*A woman in the 1200
block of Lone Mountain
Road reported that a High-
land, Calif. man had been
harassing her over the tele-
phone for the past two weeks.
*An audible alarm was
investigated at the former
Fire Mountain Gems build-
ing. The interior and exterior
were checked and secured.
*Criminal mischief was
reported at Z-Coffee. Dam-
age to lights was reported.
*Steven Howard Platt,
48, was cited on a charge of
driving 74 mph in a 55 zone
near Redwood Hwy. and
Lone Mountain Road at 8:58
p.m.
*A woman stated that a
prowler had opened a gate
and let out some dogs in the
Fredrick Court area.
*A vehicle parked on
Waldo Road was over the fog
line and considered a hazard.
Towing was arranged.
*Public assistance was
requested due to a landlord/
tenant dispute in the 200
block of W. Stevenson Street.
