House blaze
‘suspicious’
Community Bible
Luke 2:7: “And she
brought forth her first born
son, and laid him in a man-
ger… And the angel of the
Lord came to shepherds along
with the heavenly hosts say-
ing, “Glory to God in the
highest and on Earth peace,
good will toward men on
whom his favor rests.”
The message of salvation
is open to all. Philippians 4:4
says, “Rejoice in the Lord al-
ways...and the peace of God
which surpasses all under-
standing will guard your
hearts and minds through
Christ Jesus.”
Immanuel United Methodist
“God sent the angel
Gabriel to Nazareth to a virgin
named Mary.” Gabriel said…
“Greetings, favored woman!
The Lord is with you.”
He said, “The Holy Spirit
will come upon you, and the
power of the Most High will
overshadow you. So the baby
born to you will be holy, and
he will be called the Son of
Man.”
She responded, “I am the
Lord’s servant, and I am will-
ing to accept whatever He
wants.”
Obedience comes through
strength from God. He already
is with us and loves us.
St. Patrick of the Forest
Catholic Church
We celebrated the Nativ-
ity of the Lord (Christmas) a
few days ago, and now we
focus not just on Jesus, but on
His parents, Mary and Joseph.
Luke 2 gives the details
associated with the day that
Mary and Joseph took Jesus to
Jerusalem to present Him and
consecrate Him to the Lord
according to the law of the
Lord in those days. They were
living out their faith and doing
what was expected of them.
As followers of Jesus, we
need to live out our faith by
doing what is expected of us
as it relates to our families.
