Mixed Media Show: The
Multnomah Arts Center, 7688 SW
Capitol Hwy., presents “Art of
Darkness and Light,” a show of mixed
media sculpture by artist Kimberly
Bookman. Her work is a series of
female entities and stories pulled from
mythology, folklore, and religions
with the common outcome of tragedy
and darkness. An opening reception
will be held in the gallery Friday, Oct.
2, 7 – 9 p.m. and the show runs
through Oct. 27.
