Multicultural fair scheduled for
April 24 at Robert Gray School

The Southwest Portland Post
Robert Gray Middle School PTA’s
annual Multicultural Fair is sched-
uled for Tuesday, April 24, from 5:30
NEWS
to 8:00 p.m.
Students, teachers, parents and
community members are all invited
to learn more about diverse cultures
from around the world. A wide vari-
ety of delicious foods will be available
to purchase.
Special guests include master
drummer and educator Obo Addy,
performing the traditional music and

dance of Ghana. Other event high-
lights will include the the Portland
Metro Youth Pipe Band , a Chinese
dragon exploration and parade, an
informative display about Afghani-
stan, and a marimba band.
The fair includes student displays
and performances including the
French and Spanish language pro-
grams, the 8 th grade family heritage
programs, poetry, writing and art.
Soccer and table tennis activities will
also be available.
Admission is free. Robert Gray
Middle School is located in the Hill-
sdale neighborhood at 5505 SW 23 rd
