ABC’s of Siletz Tribal Athletes

The journey of Siletz Tribal athletes started in 2020. I wanted to write a story that
my son and Tribal youth would be interested in reading.
I interviewed 24 people and researched the other athletes in this book. I conducted
all the interviews over the phone during the pandemic. These pages are just a glimpse
into the lives of Tribal people. I hope to put all the interviews together in another col-
lection for our Tribal museum.
I completed this work in my own free time. I have a list of more Tribal athletes to
interview when time allows. If you have a Siletz Tribal athlete you think should be in
