Rosalie Monroe is a new Community Health Advocate at
the Siletz Community Health Clinic. Rosie spent her
childhood years living in Siletz and Toledo. When
Rosie was fourteen she moved to Marysville, Cali-
fornia. Upon graduation, Rosie moved to Norfolk,
Virginia where she worked at Old Dominion
Coffee Company. For three years Rosie got to live
on the east coast where she loved Boogie Board-
ing fervently every day during the summer
months. In January of 2003 Rosie returned to
Maryville, California and started school to become a
Clinical Medical Assistant. Soon after becoming a Medical Assistant, Rosie
received a Medical Assisting position at Lake County Tribal Health Consor-
tium where she worked for two and a half years. Rosie then returned back
to her hometown in Siletz, Oregon where she worked in the medical de-
partment for the Siletz Community Health Clinic as a Medical Assistant.
Rosie Started a family and decided to stop working temporarily to raise
her small children. Rosie’s true passion is to serve people as a whole and
in general. Rosie has a major love for human life and loves to study sub-
jects such as Anatomy, Physiology and Microbiology. In Rosie’s free time
she is chasing after kids, cleaning her house, and cooking a meal.
