Chinook winds taps Trachsel as director of compliance
Trevor Trachsel has been named

Beginning Dec. 30, he became
responsible for ensuring that Chinook
Winds is in compliance with gaming
regulations and company policies and
procedures.
Trachsel received a bachelor’s of
science degree from the University of
Oregon in 1997. He is a Siletz Tribal
member and was raised in the Siletz com-
munity. He moved back to Siletz in 2002
and still calls it home.
With more than 11 years of experi-
ence in the casino industry, Trachsel

Our beloved Katherine Porter passed on Jan. 5. Her mother, Connie Hartt
(Clemmie), and her entire family truly appreciate the kind offerings that
have brought such comfort to us during this very sad time. To the Portland Elders
in particular, when that van drove up the driveway it was all we could do to hold
it together.
Kathy would have had the biggest smile to know that her Tribal family and
friends took the time to come and celebrate her life and memories with us.
