If you would like your candidate’s statement and photo to appear in the
Voter’s Pamphlet, please submit your statement and recent 3x5 photograph of
yourself along with your application. Deadline for statements and photos is
Dec. 19, 2012, at 4 p.m.
Candidate statements must be no longer than 750 words and must not be
derogatory or contain personal attacks on any one individual. Statements and
photos will appear in the Voter’s Pamphlet. Photos will be included on the ballot.

Pumpkin Pie Diabetic
Serves: 8. Serving size: 1/8 pie slice.
Total time: 65 min. Prep: 5 min.
Cook: 60 min.
15 ounce can pumpkin
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
12 ounces evaporated skim milk
1/3 cup egg whites or nonfat egg substitute
Vi cup Splenda
1 Pillsbury ready crust
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place
pumpkin, spices, milk, egg and Splenda in
a medium-size mixing bowl and mix well.
Place crust in the bottom of a 9-inch
glass pie pan and trim excess off edges.
Pour pie filling into crust. Bake until
firm in center, about 50-60 minutes.
Allow to cool. Cut into eight pieces and
serve each piece on a plate. Refrigerate
leftovers.
