“The community of Port Orford has for a number of years now
coordinated a community event to coincide with our Run to the
Rogue ... including a dinner open to our runners and supporters.
Their community members often get on stage and play music,
sing and otherwise entertain. A number of them also come down
to Battle Rock on occasion and patiently wait with the rest of
us and stand in the cool breezes to commemorate our ancestors
there,” said Robert Kentta.
