The B-52s
Michael Jackson tribute show plays
The B-52s roam on out to the coast
one night only at Chinook Winds
The Ultimate Thriller - A Tribute to
Michael Jackson is the most authentic and
exciting musical bow to Jackson’s legacy.
For those who missed the opportunity to
see his magic on stage, this is it - one
show only on Sept. 3.
Everyone has their own special
Michael Jackson memory, whether it’s the
Bad video on MTV, clumsy attempts to
copy the moon walk in front of the mirror
or the unforgettable experience of having
seen a live concert by the “King of Pop.”
Jackson’s signature moves are revived
in The Ultimate Thriller’s world tour, cho
reographed by one of Jackson’s principle
dancers, Mic Thompson. It’s a musical
bow to the superstar, sharing his heritage
by taking parts of two of his legendary
tours: The Bad World Tour and the Dan
gerous World Tour in 1992.
The Ultimate Thriller brings Jack
son’s best songs live on stage once again:
Man in the Mirror, Black or White, Beat it,
Billie Jean, Thriller and many more. Other
parts of the program include songs from
the days when he was a member of The
Jackson 5, along with selected songs from
the Thriller and Off The Wall albums.
Vocalist and Jackson double Tej’ai
Sullivan has been mastering Jackson’s
vocals and dancing for 20 years and was
the unquestionable winner of the 2007
Michael Jackson United Nation Inter
national Fan Club MJ Pop Idol Contest.
No lip-synching here, Sullivan’s perfor
mances are 100 percent live.
Just as the appeal of Jackson’s music
spanned multiple generations, so does the
homage paid by The Ultimate Thriller.
The show brings together youthful pas
sion and time-tested wisdom with but one
goal - share in the magic, the music and
the energy of Michael Jackson.
Show time is 8 p.m. Tickets range
from $10 to $20.
