Chinook’s Seafood Grill gets new look and new menu
Grand reopening shows
changes in restaurant
open for breakfast,
lunch and dinner
A new fresh look and an equally fresh
menu were celebrated at the grand re
opening and ribbon cutting at Chinook’s
Seafood Grill on June 30.
Facilities Director Lee Scantling and
his crew worked long hours to give the
restaurant and lounge a major upgrade,
with an interior design that’s bold and
bright, sparkly and sophisticated. Restau
rant Manager Peter Morris was all smiles
as he showed off the handiwork of the
Chinook Winds facilities crew.
Members of the Siletz Tribal Coun
cil and Chinook Winds executive staff
mingled with members of the media and
elected and appointed officials from Lin
coln City while sampling bites of Chef
Jack Strong’s delightful creations tailored
specifically for the restaurant.
Chef Jack explained the ingredients
in the tempting entrees and introduced
the kitchen crew who assisted him in his
creations. Will Kiefer provided sounds to
munch and mingle by while many enjoyed
the wine that was paired with the entrees.
Open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, the
restaurant offers an ocean-view breakfast
that can be enjoyed for as little as $5.95.
Go for the classic breakfast of eggs, toast
and hash browns or satisfy your taste buds
with Northwest marionberry pancakes.
Local delicacies make up the appetizer
menu, with known favorites of Dungeness
crab cocktails to oyster shooters listed
among the many other offerings from the
Pacific. For a complete seafood extrava
ganza, the coastal appetizer platter gives a
sampling of steamer clams, cracked crab,
peel-and-eat shrimp and calamari served
with butter, lemon and cocktail sauce.
The lunch and dinner menus offer
traditional fare and entrées with just a little
