Slots Player Wins $798,932.59 Jackpot
A resident of Dayton, Ore., won
$798,932.59 on the Powerball Million
aire Progressive machine at Chinook
Winds on April 26 at 2:1 I p.m.
“I couldn’t find my regular $1
machine. I figured they must have
moved it, so I decided to try the two-
cent slot. Now I'm glad I did,” said the
excited yet still stunned winner. “1 drive
down to the beach every other week
to play. I like Chinook Winds because
of the beach and it pays better than ‘the
other' casino,” said the Dayton resident.
The two-cent Powerball Millionaire
Progressive machine is distributed by
Williams Gaming.
This was the guest’s first big jack
pot. Before her $798,932.59 payout,
her biggest win had been $1,200.
“I almost gave up on the machine.
1 put in $100 total. I was on my last
$20 when it hit,” she said.
This is the first Powerball Pro
gressive hit at Chinook Winds. The
machine has been on the floor since
April 28, 2006.
“We are excited to see a customer*
like her win such a big jackpot,” said Sar
Richards, Casino Operations director.
Chinook Winds is proud to offer
new machines throughout the gaming
floor on a regular basis.
“We are adding I 2 new tournament
machines the first week of May and
have just added brand new machines
in our non-smoking area” said Richards.
