A wedding reception will take
place at the Lincoln City Community
The couple married Jan. 26 on Kahana
Beach. Maui. Hawaii.
Center on Feb. I I from I p.m. to 4 p.m.
We invite their friends and family
for Crystal (Ben) and Justin Tomlinson.
to join us in celebrating their wedding.
Life spins its threads
of sunshine and shadows
into the tapestry of being.
Memories rush in
like distant echoes.
So it is this day
and I remember George.
I knew his parents well
and they were people of worth
by any man's measure.
Then there were two little boys
George and Snooks.
They grew tai! and strong.
They were my son s friends
and
one day a long time ago
in the old high school gym
/ heard the wail of George's trumpet
played with the skill of the Angel Gabriel.
So, in this hour of departure,
I think of George and Snooks,
Tommy and Toots, together again,
and I hear the wail of a trumpet.
God and the Angel Gabriel are listening.
