10th Anniversary Celebration

Chinook Winds Draws Crowds for
10th Anniversary
A multitude of activities drew crowds
of people to Chinook Winds Casino Re­
sort for the 10th anniversary celebration
in June.
The year’s largest non-Fourth of July
fireworks show on the Pacific Northwest
Coast; the legendary George Jones plus
Williams & Ree in concert; giveaways of
l()lh anniversary commemorative gifts;
and prize drawings - including the
grand prize of a 2005 Dodge Dakota
Laramie Quad Cab, a handcrafted wooden
boat, and a towing trailer - highlighted
the weekend.
Jennifer Easter, Jr. Miss Siletz Princess, and Ashliegh Ramirez, Little Miss Siletz,
perform The Lord’s Prayer as they and Delores Pigsley, Lillie Butler,
Reggie Butler Sr., Phil Rilatos Sr, and Jessie Davis take part in
10th anniversary celebration activities.
Delores Pigsley, Franklin Ducheneaux, and his wife, Ernie, attend a dinner
honoring those who helped plan and build the casino.
Ashliegh Ramirez, Little Miss Siletz, and Katrina Reis, Jr. Miss Siletz, ride in the
Wells Fargo stagecoach in Lincoln City, Ore., during the Kite Festival weekend
in June. The stagecoach is a replica of those used from the 1850s to the 1900s.
Fifteen of these replica stagecoaches are available nationwide for Wells Fargo
Bank branches to requst an appearance.
