The Tribal Council of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians

Anniversary Celebration of Chinook Winds Casino Resort.
A reception will be held June 25 at 11 a.m. in the showroom at
Chinook Winds Casino Resort. Tribal members will receive a
commemorative T-shirt at the event.

Chinook Winds Casino Resort and
the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians
will celebrate the property’s 10th anniver­
sary in June. The celebration will include
prize giveaways, fireworks, two concerts
from legendary country artist George
Jones, and more.

This special “game show” promotion begins May 22, with
qualifying drawings held Sundays (May 29, June 5, June 12,
and June 19) at 4 p.m.
At 11 a.m. on June 25, Chinook
Winds will hold a reception that is open
to the public and will feature a brief pre­
sentation by the Siletz Tribal Council. On-
the-house anniversary cake and a light
buffet will be served to the public while
supplies last.
Throughout the day, 10th anniversary
commemorative gifts, such as special an­
niversary bingo daubers, baseball caps for
poker players, and more will be available
to players throughout the casino. All gifts
are available while supplies last.

George Jones, Fireworks
Another element of the celebration
event is the performance by George Jones
on June 24-25. With more charted singles
than any other artist in any other format
in the history of popular music, Country
Hall of Fame inductee George Jones is
considered one of the most legendary and
prolific country singers.
After the concert on June 25 (at ap­
proximately IO p.m.), Chinook Winds
will put on a spectacular fireworks show
just north of the casino. This exhibition
will be the year’s largest non-Fourth of
July fireworks show on the entire Pacific
Northwest coast.

As part of Chinook Winds 10th anni­
versary festivities, the casino will be the
first in Oregon to feature the Star Wars:
A New Hope slot machine.
Based on the 1977 film classic, the
machines offer classic characters, light­
saberduels, storm trooper encounters, and
battling starships, along with film and
audio clips from the original movie.
The long-awaited game made its debut
on the casino floor May 17, just days be­
fore the opening of the highly anticipated
Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.
Grand Prize Giveaway
Over the years, Chinook Winds Ca­
sino Resort has given away dozens of cars,
trucks, campers, cruises, exotic vacations,
and more. But the 10* anniversary $ 100,(XX)
Game Show Extravaganza will feature the
premium prize package - a 2005 Dodge
Dakota Laramie Quad Cab, a handcrafted
wooden boat, and a towing trailer.
On every Sunday from May 29
through June 19, l() lucky names will be
drawn to be a contestant in our game
show. Each will win up to $ 1,000 in cash.
Then on June 26, nine of the IO names
drawn to play our final game show will
win cash and one will win the truck, boat,
and trailer. All winners must be present.
