Spots Available in Firefighter Program
Position: Student Trainee (Forestry)
Salary: $10.19/hour to $11.43/hour
Close: Sept. 15, 2004
Approximately 40 positions may be filled on
national forests in the Pacific Northwest Region, U.S.
Forest Service.
The Wildland Firefighter Apprentice Program is
designed to take a fire-fighter with one or more seasons
of experience and provide education, training, and
work experience that will allow him/her to reach the
journey-level status and receive a career-conditional
appointment upon completion.

very limited.
