National Institutes of Health
The National Institutes of Health
Undergraduate Scholarship Program
has 15 scholarships of up to $20,000
per academic year for tuition, educa­
tional expenses, and reasonable living
expenses for scholarship recipients.
Scholarships are awarded for one year
and can be renewed up to four years.
This program offers competitive
scholarships to students from dis­
advantaged backgrounds who are
committed to careers in biomedical,
behavioral, and social science health-
related research. The program offers:

Scholarship support
Paid research training at the NIH
during the summer
Paid employment and training at
the NIH after graduation

received by Feb. 28, 2004. More

Morris K. Udall Foundation
The Morris K. Udall Foundation
has 80 $5,000 scholarships available for
sophomore and junior undergraduate
students in two categories:

Native American and Alaska Native
students studying fields related to
the environment, health care, or
tribal public policy
Any college sophomore or junior
studying fields related to the
environment
The Udall Scholarship is by nomina­
tion only - students must be nominated
by the Udall faculty representative on
campus. Contact information and
