Crystal Davies was recently hired
as a publicist, a new addition to
Chinook Winds Casino & Convention
Center’s Public Relations Department.
Crystal’s background includes a
variety of public relations accounts,
including The Joint inside the Hard
Rock Hotel, McCormick & Schmick’s
Seafood Restaurant, WestCoast Hotels,
Portland Home & Garden Show,
Northwest Cancer Specialists, and
Pacific Northwest Sportsman’s Show.
Raised in Las Vegas, Nev., Crystal
graduated from the University of
Nevada at Las Vegas (UNLV) after
working 14 years in the hospitality
industry. She obtained a degree in
communications, with an emphasis in
public relations.
As publicist, Crystal will work with
Bob Everhart and Teresa Simmons on

Growing up in the casino industry
(her mother was one of the first female
blackjack dealers on the Las Vegas
strip) and working in the service
industry, Crystal feels very strongly
about how important a successful
casino is to all involved.
“My goal is to have people think
of Chinook Winds Casino when they
have a birthday or anniversary or
vacation or when they just want to have
some fun, whether it be RV enthusiasts
or sports fans or poker lovers,” said
Crystal. “We really have something
special here and I want to make sure
everyone in the Northwest knows about
all we offer.”
