Menzie Graduates from McNary HS
by Mom (Donita)
We would like to announce the
graduation of our wonderful, loving
daughter, Ashlie Menzie, who will
graduate from McNary High School
in Keizer, Ore., on June 6, 2003.
In addition to Ashlie’s high
scholastic grades, she has many
accomplishments that make us proud
of her. Ashlie has been recognized
for her perfect attendance from Head
Start, kindergarten, and elementary
school through middle school. She
has missed only a half a day in four
years of high school.
Ashlie Menzie
Ashlie has strong core values and a deep commitment to bringing projects
to a successful completion. She’s a very dedicated person. This also is evident
in her commitment to band. Every morning she gets up one-and-a-half hours
earlier than she would normally have to so she can assist her band teacher in
tutoring children in the fifth through eighth grades. During the last three
years, Ashlie has played the flute in regular band, marching band, and concert
band. She also has helped the band director set up two of her last concerts.
Ashlie plans to attend college in the fall. Even though she’ll leave high
school behind, she’ll open the door to a new career. All of her family (including
her little sister, Andrea) are very proud of her accomplishments and wanted
others to know a little about her and how special she is to us.
