Siletz Tribal Head Start
We sent a big group of parents and staff to the 2003 Region X

Child Care Center Opens,
Applications Still Available
Applications for the Tenas Illahee Child Care Center are available. Families
with children age 6 weeks through 10 years old are encouraged to apply.
The center has opened, with no afterschool care. Capacity will increase
Teacher Tony wrestles for the Aztecu
pro wrestling team. He won the heavy
weight title and belt on March 8. Way
to go, Tony Terrific! He next wrestles
in one of several matches on April 5
at Toledo High School. The event,
sponsored by Siletz Tribal Head Start
and the Toledo Boomer Boosters,
begins at 8 p.m.

There is no deadline to turn in applications, although the sooner they get in,
the sooner you can join! By our charter, we accept children in the following order
of priority: 1) children of members of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians
of Oregon (CTSI); 2) children of employees of CTSI; and 3) children of members
of the Siletz community.

Donations Needed!
The Tenas Illahee Child Care Center is open! We still can use educational
toys and books for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school
age children.
We would like books and toys in good condition that are easily cleaned.
If you or someone you know has anything you think children will love or
