Comedy on the Coast Continues
Comedy on the Coast is set for
April 11-12, featuring a trio of
comedians in a 90- minute show.
Tim Haldeman will open the
show, with Alonzo Bodden as the
headliner and Don Barnhart as the
featured act.
Whether you know it or not, you’ve
probably seen Tim Haldeman. The
actor come stand-up comic has
performed in more than 100 television
shows and movies. Among his many
credits are appearances on The West
Wing, Malcolm in the Middle, ER, Once
and Again, The Drew Carey Show,
Sabrina The Teenage Witch and Third
Rock From The Sun.
Over the last decade, Haldeman has
developed a stand-up routine that he’s
performed across the country, including
sold-out shows at The Sahara in Las
Vegas and at the Atlantis Hotel in
Atlantic City.
Originally from New York and
currently living in Los Angeles, Alonzo
Bodden is one of the hottest up-and-
coming stars on the L.A. stand-up
comedy scene. He’s been a featured
guest on Late Night with Conan
O Brien and The Keenan Ivory Wayans
Show, as well as Friday Night Videos.
Also a talented actor, Bodden
guest-starred on NBC’s The Profiler
and had a recurring role on FOX’s The
Visitor. He also has appeared at the Just
For Laughs Montreal International
Comedy Festival.
Entertainment Business Journal
calls Don Barnhart one of the top 100
comedians of 2001 and 2002!
Besides being one of the first
comics to graduate from the infamous
Second City Improv Conservatory
Program in Los Angeles, Barnhart has
just released his first DVD. He also
headlines nationally at top comedy
clubs like the world-famous Improv and
is a veteran of the USO’s Comedy
Break World Tour with performances
throughout the Middle East, Europe,
and Asia.
Barnhart’s
comedic
style
incorporates physical and facial
expressions along with witty, off-the-
wall observations and an upbeat, fast-
paced, improvisational edge. He has the
versatility to go from hip-hop to the
corporate world without missing a beat.
Barnhart has performed at U.S.
embassies, Def Jam concerts, shows
for the hearing-impaired, and nudist
colonies. He’s got a Southern California
flair that keeps audiences howling
for more.
