Thank You for the Miracle You
Have Given Me
by René Lane, for her daughter, Melissa
Oh heavenly father, what an amazing night. My daughter is watching a movie
entitled with your name. She begins watching it, sensing that I’m sad, and tells
me Jesus will dry your tears ... that’s what she remembers when she's feeling sad.
I’m drawn to your movie now and I don’t resist. I’m reminded again you
comfort me if only I give in. We pray silently and we’re off to bed. 1 place my
Bible on my pillow next to me and put my arms around you. I surrender completely
and the tears begin to flow.
I pray to you, Heavenly Father, show me which way to go. I get so confused
when I trust in only me. I know you'll guide me tomorrow when it's a brand new
day, for tonight you reminded me you’re always there for me.
You knew what you were doing when you lent her to me, my one and only
child. I’m so grateful for everything you’ve given me. Oh thank you, Father, for
the miracle you have given me.
