County Historical Museum, and the
Lincoln City Visitor & Convention
Bureau, was held in 1991 and included
citywide antique store sales and
historical tours.
Thirteen years later, Lincoln City is
still the place to be in February, when
Antique Week is held again on Feb. 7-17,
2003. Since its inception, more
activities and participants have been
added each year. In addition to citywide
sales at more than 80 dealers in 10 shops
and eight antique malls, Antique Week
has grown to offer education and
entertainment for all interests and ages.
As part of Antique Week, Chinook
Winds Casino & Convention Center

The Gatlin Brothers
Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin
Brothers to Perform
It’s time to get back to the country with the music of Larry Gatlin and The
Gatlin Brothers at Chinook Winds Casino on Feb. 28 and March 1.
For the past four decades, Larry Gatlin and The Gatlin Brothers have traveled
from Texas around the world, performing their brand of music for millions of
fans through live concerts and television. Their journey has taken them to the
great concert halls of America, sharing the harmony and great songs for which
they are so famous.
Larry, an accomplished songwriter, has written some of country music’s
greatest songs for Elvis Presley, Dottie West, Johnny Cash, and Anne Murray,
just to name a few. Barbra Streisand, Tom Jones, and Johnny Mathis also have
recorded his songs, gamering him respect in both the country and pop fields.
Along with his brothers, Steve and Rudy, he’s living his dream to sing together
with them.
Steve has starred in several self-produced productions in Myrtle Beach,
S.C., receiving rave reviews. These productions have allowed him to step out
and showcase his own style of music and comedy. His first love, however, has
always been singing with his brothers.
Back in Texas, Rudy is busy on the speaker’s circuit as well as lending his
name to and playing on the Celebrity Golf Tour. In the past, he starred in the hit
musical Oklahoma and has taken the lead in organizing many of the brothers’
charity events. He has a great love for children, as do all the brothers, and
nowhere has this been better displayed than in his 20 years of tireless service to
the Gatlin Brothers MDA Golf Tournament in Dallas, Texas.
The Gatlin Brothers have recorded more than 25 albums, including country,
gospel, and big band. They have appeared on more than 75 national TV shows,
toured internationally, and endorsed products such as American Express,
Kentucky Fried Chicken, Dr. Pepper, and Amoco. Most recently, they sang at
the White House for President George W. Bush, a long-time friend.
Their awards and accomplishments are many, but their legacy will be their
God-given talent to entertain fans around the world, inspiring them to reach for
their own dreams, just as the brothers did years ago in Abilene, Texas.
Don’t miss the opportunity to see these legendary entertainers in person
when they perform at Chinook Winds Casino. Show time for both nights is
8 p.m. Tickets are $25-$40, depending on seat location.
