It’s Happening at Chinook Winds in December ...
by Teresa Simmons
William Robertson Named
Protégé
William Robertson was selected as the second protégé in the Mentor/
Protégé Program for Chinook Winds Casino in October.
Will returned home to Siletz, Ore., in 1999 from Doniphan, Mont.,
excited to pursue career opportunities with Chinook Winds. He began his
employment here as a valet attendant in the Transportation Department.
Within four months, Will was promoted to a dual-rate transportation
supervisor. Continuing his rapid growth within the department, he was
named transportation supervisor in July 2000.
The Mentor/Protégé Program kicked off in July 2002. We are confident
that Will’s background, education, and experience in our tribal gaming
industry will assist him in achieving the goals of the Mentor/Protégé
Program in the years to come.
