Charitable Contribution Fund
Siletz Tribe Donates $69,700
to Community
The Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund made another round of
distributions on Nov. 8 at Chinook Winds Casino & Convention Center.
Thirty-six organizations shared $69,700.41 in contributions. The seven­
member advisory board has distributed a total of $349,000 since its inception
in 2001.
Eligibility for funds is limited to two categories:

Prior to establishing the Advisory Board in 2001, the Siletz Tribe distributed
a percentage of gaming revenues through an ad-hoc committee that awarded
$134,020 to various organizations throughout Oregon.
The next deadline for submitting applications is Dec. 18,2002. Applications
and guidelines can be obtained from Christine Williams at 1-800-922-1399,
ext. 200, or 541-444-8200, or by mail at Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians of
Oregon, P.O. Box 549, Siletz, OR 97380.
