It’s Happening at Chinook Winds ...
Socially Incorrect Comedy with
Williams & Ree
Chinook Winds is pleased to announce that the comedy team of Williams &
Ree, also known as “the Indian and the White Guy,” are back by popular demand
Aug. 9 and 10. They’re not bigoted - they make fun of everyone!
Williams & Ree have been performing together for more than 25 years. During
that time, they have shared stages with such superstars as Garth Brooks, The Oak
Ridge Boys, Charlie Daniels, and Randy Travis.
They have worked as regulars on Hee Haw, appeared as regular guest stars on
the Country Kitchen with Florence Henderson, hosted LAFFTVwith WILLIAMS
& REE, and co-hosted The Charlie Daniel’s Talent Roundup.
Their show is a lively, fast-paced mixture of comedy bits, social/political
commentary, and racial zings, entwined with original songs. Not limited to comedy,
Williams & Ree were nominated for Best Vocal Duo by the Country Music
Association in 1995.
Go beyond the chuckle and right into a belly laugh with the outrageous antics
of “the Indian and the White Guy,” Williams & Ree. Performances are on
Aug. 9 and 10 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10-$ 15, depending on seat location.

Engelbert Humperdinck Returns
in September
The undisputed “King of Romance,” the crooner to top all crooners, Engelbert
Humperdinck will perform at Chinook Winds Casino on Sept. 6 and 7.
What better way to end the summer than seeing this marvelous entertainer in
person, performing some of the greatest love ballads of all time.
More than three decades ago, a swoony ballad called Release Me knocked
The Beatles’ Penny Lane out of the No. 1 spot on the British pop charts and
introduced the world to Engelbert Humperdinck. Since then, Humperdinck’s
career has produced sales in excess of 130 million records, including 64 gold and
23 platinum records.
Romantic love ballads, including The Last Waltz, After The Lovin’, Spanish
Eyes, and Quando, Quando, Quando, have continued to heighten the meaning of
romance for music lovers around the globe. Each of these songs is synonymous
with the name “Engelbert.”
Although he has changed with the times to a more contemporary sound, the
voice of this man with the 3° octave vocal range is more powerful and richer
than ever. Count on many of the classic Humperdinck songs to be mixed in with
new and exciting sounds, spiced with humor for a terrific blend of entertainment.
Concert time for both nights is 8 p.m. Ticket prices range from $3O-$5O,
depending on seat location.
