Siletz Tribe Donates $63,990
to Community
The Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund made another round of
distributions on May 2 at Chinook Winds Casino & Convention Center.
Twenty-five organizations shared $63,990.95 in contributions. The seven
member advisory board will distribute a total of $349,000 by the end of 2002.
Eligibility for funds is limited to two categories:
• Entities and activities located in the Siletz Tribe’s 11-county service area
(Lincoln, Tillamook, Linn, Lane, Benton, Polk, Yamhill, Marion, Multnomah,
Washington, and Clackamas counties)
• Native American entities and activities located anywhere in the United States

Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund.
Supervisor 2/Office Manager, Indian Family Wellness Project. Supervise
and monitor interviewing staff in field office in Siletz; work closely with
IFW Project coordinator and staff, Head Start director, Head Start teacher,
and others; oversee and track aspects of the project; set up meetings and
coordinate materials and refreshments; reimburse participating families; travel
to Eugene for regular meetings; other duties as required.
Requires six to nine years of experience related to position, or four
years of college and two to five years of related experience, or
equivalent combination.
Ability to work well independently and with others; word processing
and Excel computer skills. Requires attention to detail and accuracy.
Preference may be given to enrolled Siletz Tribal members or persons
with documented Native American heritage.
Hourly position; beginning pay is $13.63 hour; may be higher depending
on qualifications and experience.
