Siletz Tribe
Cancels Spring
Competition
Pow-Wow
The Confederated Tribes of
Siletz Indians of Oregon’s Spring
Competition Pow-Wow, held annually
in late March, has been canceled.
The Siletz Tribe and Chinook
Winds Casino extend thanks to
everyone for their support over the past
four years, which made the pow-wow
a phenomenal success. Unfortunately,
even though the casino has the largest
convention center on the Oregon coast,
the space is not large enough to meet
the expanding needs of the pow-wow,
which surpassed the available space in
its fourth year.
