Advertise and compile employment
listing of local tribal members and other
Indians interested in working on project,
coordinate with contractors for available
employment opportunities.
Monitor for compliance to environmental
permits required by Housing Authority.
Coordinate with tribal programs, city of
Siletz, and others concerned with
environmental issues.
Prepare bid specifications and
announcements for Housing Authority
construction and improvement projects,
including rehabilitation of homes owned
and/or rented by tribal members, water
and sewer system improvements for
homes owned and/or rented by tribal
members, handicapped accessibility
improvements for homes owned and/or
rented by tribal members, repairs and
improvements to housing units owned
by the tribe or Housing Authority, and
construction of new housing units and
community facilities.
** Inspect all ongoing projects as needed
and report to appropriate departments
as needed.
Report to executive director weekly or
as needed.
Other duties as assigned by executive
director.

available from the SIHA office, 555 Tolowa
Court, PO Box 549, Siletz, OR 97380.

SIHA office no later than July 10, 2000.

The tribe’s Indian Preference Policy will
be followed.
