The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians
made a $5,000 contribution to the Siletz Valley
Fire Department. Captain Dave Edwards
accepted the check from Jo Ann Miller, Tribal
Council member (second from right). Also
pictured (left to right) are Brenda Bremner, acting
general manager; Laura Bremner and Kelley
Ellis, Siletz Indian Housing Authority board
members: and Connie Hoffman, director of the
Siletz Indian Housing Authority. According to
Captain Edwards, the contribution "will help
with a down payment on a new rescue rig. ”
